Greetings, dear friends of @foodiesbeehive, welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing a delicious recipe: breaded shrimp, a dish that turned out absolutely finger-licking good. When I was at the supermarket, I only went to pick up some vegetables and fruit, but then I passed by one of the refrigerated sections and noticed some trays of shrimp that were priced between $3.50 and $5.50—more like prawns, really, because they were quite large. The price seemed reasonable, and I didn't miss the opportunity. I brought one of these trays home to enjoy a different kind of meal.

I really love the traditional breading made with flour, egg, and breadcrumbs, so that's how I prepared these shrimp, which I served with vegetables and a delicious mashed potato. I hope you enjoy the recipe.

## Ingredients

- 180g shell-on shrimp

- 100g carrots

- 270g potatoes

- 57g green beans

- 6 tablespoons breadcrumbs

- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

- 1 egg

- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

- Soybean oil for frying

- Salt and pepper to taste

## Preparation

1.-. Clean the shrimp. First, cut off the head, remove the shell and the vein (make a cut along the back and remove the vein, leaving the tail). Then wash them and season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

2.-. Wash the green beans and carrots. Trim the ends of the green beans and cut them into small pieces. Peel the carrots and dice them. Then, cook them in a pot with enough water to cover them and cook until tender. Once cooked and cooled to room temperature, season with salt to taste and add olive oil. Mix and set aside.

3.-. We wash the potatoes, peel them, cut them into cubes, and cook them until tender. Once tender, we drain them and mash them with a potato masher. Then we season with salt and olive oil. We mix well to combine the flavors.

4.-. We cook the shrimp. We beat the egg and season it with salt and pepper to taste. Then, we preheat the pan over medium-low heat with enough soybean oil and arrange the ingredients,

5.- We coat the shrimp in wheat flour, then in beaten egg, and finally in breadcrumbs. We place them on a tray to fry them.

6.- Fry the shrimp until golden brown on both sides; they don't require much cooking time, about a minute and a half per side. To remove excess oil, place them on paper towels.

Saludos estimados amigos de @foodiesbeehive, bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy les comparto una deliciosa receta, camarones empanizados, una preparación que me quedó para chuparse los dedos. Cuando estuve en el supermercado, solo fui para llevarme algunos vegetales y unas frutas, pero luego pasé por una de las neveras y me fijé en unas bandejas de camarones que estaban entre 3,5$ y 5,5$, más bien langostinos, porque estaban bastante grandes. El precio me pareció asequible y no me perdí de esta oportunidad, me traje una de estas bandejas a casa para disfrutar de una comida diferente.

La verdad es que me encanta el tradicional empanizado que se hace con harina, huevo y pan molido, así preparé estos camarones que acompañé con vegetales y un delicioso puré de papas. Espero les guste la receta.

## Ingredientes

-180 grs de camarones con concha

- 100 grs de zanahoria

- 270 grs de papas

- 57 grs de vainitas o judías verdes

- 6 cucharadas de pan molido

- 4 cucharada de harina de trigo todo uso

- 1 huevo

- 2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva extra virgen

- Aceite de soya para freír

- Sal y pimienta al gusto

## Preparación

1.-. Limpiamos los camarones. Primero cortamos la cabeza, retiramos la concha y el intestino (se hace un corte en el lomo y extraemos la vena, dejamos la cola. Luego los lavamos y condimentamos con sal y pimienta al gusto. Reservamos.

2.-. Lavamos las judías verdes y las zanahorias. Cortamos los extremos de las judías verdes y las seccionamos en trozos pequeños. También retiramos la piel de la zanahoria y la cortamos en cubos. Luego, las ponemos a cocinar en una olla con suficiente agua hasta que se ablanden. Una vez listas y se hayan enfriado a temperatura ambiente, condimentamos con la sal al gusto y añadimos el aceite de oliva. Mezclamos y reservamos.

3.-. Lavamos las papas, retiramos la piel, las cortamos en cubos y las ponemos a cocinar hasta que estén blandas. Una vez que estén blandas, las colamos y con la ayuda de un pisa papas hacemos el puré. Luego condimentamos con sal y el aceite de oliva. Mezclamos bien para que se integren los sabores.

4.-. Cocinamos los camarones. Batimos el huevo y sazonamos con sal y pimienta al gusto. Luego, precalentamos la sartén a fuego medio bajo con suficiente aceite de soya y organizamos los ingredientes,

5.- Pasamos los camarones por la harina de trigo, luego por el huevo batido y por último por el pan rallado. Los vamos colocando sobre una bandeja para luego freírlos.

6.- Freímos los camarones hasta que tomen un color dorado por ambos lados, no requieren de mucho tiempo de cocción, 1 minuto y medio por cada lado, aproximadamente. Para eliminar el exceso de grasa, los colocamos sobre papel absorbente.
