Yesterday was a busy day, with several things to do outside the house. With the responsibility of having lunch ready on time, I managed to whip up a quick, tasty, and easy meal.

Rice is a very economical food that also absorbs flavors very well, so a well-seasoned chicken stew is perfect for making a quick and delicious chicken and rice dish. INGREDIENTS - Cooked white rice (2 cups rice, salt, 1 tablespoon oil, and 1/2 cup water) - 500 grams bone-in chicken breast, cut into small pieces - Ground turmeric - Curry powder - One chopped onion - Worcestershire sauce - 3 crushed garlic cloves - Dried oregano - Half a grated raw carrot - Achiote oil - Salt and pepper - Chopped chives for garnish. PROCEDURE

✓ Season the chicken with: turmeric, curry powder, onion, carrot, salt, pepper, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, and oil. You can use your preferred seasonings and spices. You can also do this the night before; it will be even tastier.

✓ Cook the chicken in a covered pot over medium heat for 25 minutes. It will cook in its own juices, but if it dries out, add water.

✓ Once the chicken is cooked, add the rice gradually, mixing it in as you go.

My rice is cooked in a rice cooker, but you can also make it the day before. One of the things I like to have on hand in the refrigerator is rice; I love having it readily available.

Look at the beautiful color it has thanks to the turmeric; it looks delicious.

✓ This amount I made was enough for both lunch and dinner. A tasty meal simply by combining the cooked chicken with the cooked rice. I added chopped scallions to garnish the dish.

Arroz con pollo delicioso, técnica fácil y rápida

Ayer tuve un día atareado, con varias cosas que hacer fuera de casa, con la responsabilidad de tener la comida a tiempo me las ingenie para hacer un almuerzo rápido, sabroso y fácil.

El arroz es rendidor y es un alimento que absorbe los sabores muy bien, así que un guiso de pollo bien condimentado es genial para hacer un arroz con pollo rápido y delicioso. INGREDIENTES - Arroz blanco cocido con: 2 tazas de arroz, sal, una cucharada de aceite y 1/2 tazas de agua - 500 gramos de pechuga de pollo con su hueso, cortada en piezas pequeñas - Cúrcuma molida - Curry en polvo - Cebolla picada, con una es suficiente - Salsa inglesa - 3 dientes de ajos machacados - Orégano seco molido - Zanahoria cruda rallada, la mitad de una es suficiente - Aceite onotado - Sal y pimienta - Cebollino picado para decorar. PROCEDIMIENTO

✓ Sazonar el pollo con: cúrcuma, curry, cebolla, zanahoria, sal, pimienta, ajo, salsa inglesa, orégano y aceite. Puedes utilizar los aliños y especias de tu preferencia, también ésto lo puedes hacer con antelación en la noche anterior, quedará aún más sabroso.

✓ Cocinar el pollo con la olla tapada a fuego medio por 25 minutos, se cocinará en sus propios jugos, pero en dado caso que se seque, se le agrega agua.

✓ Una vez que el pollo está listo podemos añadir el arroz, lo colocamos poco a poco, y vamos mezclando.

Mi arroz está hecho en la arrocera, también lo puedes hacer el día anterior, una de las cosas que me gusta tener en la nevera listo es arroz, me encanta tener siempre a la mano.

Miren el hermoso color que tiene gracias a la cúrcuma, se ve apetitoso.

✓ Ésta cantidad que hice fue suficiente para comer en el almuerzo y también para la cena. Una comida sabrosa solo con unir el pollo listo con el arroz cocido, le añadí cebollino picado para decorar el plato.
