Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing great, dear Movies and TV Shows community, this time I want to talk to you about a rather... peculiar movie, the truth is I am a super fan of superheroes and one of the things that excited me the most was seeing the Justice League adapted to the big screen... and what we got was... pathetic... but when they announced the Snyder Cut, I was like... "Really? Is a movie that we already saw in 2017 going to change that much? Isn't it just a whim of Zack and the fans?". But well, here I am, and I tell you with all the honesty in the world that it is a version that is very much worth it, because this is, without a doubt, the Justice League that we deserved. To understand why this version is so special, we must remember a little about the drama behind it, Zack Snyder had to leave the direction in 2017 due to the terrible loss of his daughter, and that's when Joss Whedon came in to finish the job, the result? a true cinematic Frankenstein, with jokes more forced than a mother-in-law's hug, a tone that didn't fit at all and special effects that were very sad... but, the fans did not remain silent... a massive campaign was mounted, but seriously massive, for Warner Bros. to release Snyder's original cut... after years of insisting, of breaking the networks, they succeeded, it was a long process, where the fan community united like never before, in one of the biggest moves of support for a director in the history of cinema. Finally, HBO Max gave the green light to this version... this not only gave us a much better movie, but it marked a before and after in the industry... the Snyder Cut is not just an extended version, it is a completely different movie, yes, the basis is the same: Steppenwolf arrives on Earth looking for the Mother Boxes and the Justice League has to stop him... but here, Steppenwolf's threat feels much more real, heavier, due to his relationship with Darkseid and his desperation to redeem himself. In addition, the League is formed in a much more natural, more organic way, with a calmer pace that allows you to better understand what's up with each character, their motivations, their internal problems... the movie doesn't rush to bring them all together at once, but shows you how each one is dealing with their own battles before deciding to join the team, and they also add new scenes that give a lot of depth to the story and the characters, making you connect with them much more. >Hola a todos, espero que se encuentren súper bien, querida comunidad de Movies and TV Shows, en esta ocasión quiero hablarles de una película bastante.. peculiar, la verdad yo soy super fanático de los super héroes y una de las cosas que más me emocionaban era ver s la Liga de la Justicia adaptada en el cine.. y lo que tuvimos fue.. penoso.. pero cuando anunciaron el Snyder Cut, yo estaba como... "¿En serio? ¿Tanto va a cambiar una peli que ya vimos en el 2017? ¿No será mucho capricho del Zack y de los fans nomás?". Pero bueno, acá estoy, y les digo con toda la honestidad del mundo que es una versión que vale mucho la pena, porque esta es, sin dudas, la Liga de la Justicia que nos merecíamos.

Para que entiendan por qué esta versión es tan especial, hay que recordar un poco el drama que hubo detrás, Zack Snyder tuvo que dejar la dirección en el 2017 por la terrible pérdida de su hija, y ahí entró Joss Whedon para terminar el trabajo, ¿el resultado? un verdadero Frankenstein cinematográfico, con chistes más forzados que abrazo de suegra, un tono que no pegaba para nada y unos efectos especiales que daban mucha pena.. pero, los fans no se quedaron callados.. se armó una campaña masiva, pero masiva en serio, para que Warner Bros. sacara a la luz el corte original de Snyder.. después de años de insistir, de romper las redes, lo lograron, fue un proceso largo, donde la comunidad fanática se unió como nunca antes, en una de las movidas más grandes de apoyo a un director en la historia del cine.
Finalmente, HBO Max les dio luz verde a esta versión.. esto no solo nos regaló una peli mucho mejor, sino que marcó un antes y un después en la industria.. el Snyder Cut no es una versión extendida nomás, es otra película completamente diferente, sí, la base es la misma: Steppenwolf llega a la Tierra buscando las Cajas Madre y la Liga de la Justicia tiene que detenerlo.. pero acá, la amenaza de Steppenwolf se siente mucho más real, más pesada, por su relación con Darkseid y su desesperación por redimirse. Cyborg, who in the 2017 version was like another piece of furniture, an extra who passed by, here steals the entire movie... his story touches your heart, his relationship with his father is super well told and his arc in the plot is the soul of everything, Ray Fisher did it great, it's incredible to think that all this had been thrown away in the previous version, crazy! Flash also has a lot more prominence and his role at the end, in the climax, is fundamental, he gives us one of the most brutal scenes in the movie, and it means a lot to the fans of the speedster... And Batman, nothing to do with that lost character we saw before, here he has a clear objective and a well-marked leadership, it is clear that he knows what he's doing, Steppenwolf also improves a lot, he is no longer the typical boring villain who wants to rule the world because yes... now we understand that he seeks to redeem himself, that he failed Darkseid and that he is desperate to gain his trust again, that makes him much more interesting, and the truth is, he is scarier, he commands more respect.
And then there’s Darkseid, the final villain… even though the CGI isn’t perfect, his presence gives the story a sense of galactic menace… it goes deeper into the politics and hierarchical conflict of Apokolips, which expands the DC universe and leaves us wanting to see what would have happened in an epic sequel. And the action scenes are on another level… they’re longer, more epic, better done, with incredible choreography, there are moments that left me with my mouth open, like the battle in the past where the Amazons, the Atlanteans, the gods and even a Green Lantern go all out against Darkseid. Why did they cut this in Whedon’s version? Nobody understands! But seeing that scene here is a gem, a marvel... the final fight is also much more satisfying, you can see that the team really works together, using their powers in a strategic and coordinated way... also, Superman in the black suit, I liked it, it's not just a detail for comic book fans, but it reinforces his transformation after being resurrected, showing us a more mature and powerful version of the character. >Y vamos a hablar de los personajes, porque si hay algo en lo que esta versión se luce, es en darles el desarrollo que se merecían, ¡por fin! Cyborg, que en la versión del 2017 era como un mueble más, un extra que pasaba por ahí, acá se roba la película entera.. su historia te llega al corazón, la relación con su padre está súper bien contada y su arco en la trama es el alma de todo, Ray Fisher lo hice genial, es increíble pensar que todo esto lo habían tirado a la basura en la versión anterior, ¡una locura! Flash también tiene mucho más protagonismo y su papel al final, en el clímax, es fundamental, nos regala una de las escenas más brutales de la pelicula, y que significa mucho para los fanáticos del velocista.. Y Batman, nada que ver con ese personaje perdido que vimos antes, acá tiene un objetivo claro y un liderazgo bien marcado, se nota que sabe lo que hace, Steppenwolf también mejora un montón, ya no es el típico villano aburrido que quiere dominar el mundo porque sí.. shora entendemos que busca redimirse, que le falló a Darkseid y que está desesperado por volver a ganarse su confianza, eso lo hace mucho más interesante, y la verdad, da más miedo, impone más respeto.
Y ojo, que aparece Darkseid, el villano final.. aunque el CGI no sea perfecto, su presencia le da a la historia una sensación de amenaza a nivel galáctico.. se profundiza más en la política y el conflicto jerárquico de Apokolips, lo que expande el universo de DC y nos deja con ganas de ver qué hubiera pasado en una secuela épica. Y las escenas de acción son de otro nivel.. son más largas, más épicas, mejor hechas, con una coreografía increíble, hay momentos que me dejaron con la boca abierta, como la batalla del pasado donde las Amazonas, los atlantes, los dioses y hasta un Linterna Verde se dan con todo contra Darkseid. ¿Por qué cortaron esto en la versión de Whedon? ¡Nadie lo entiende! I know, at first it sounds like something to think twice about.. it was supposed to be a miniseries, and honestly, I think it would have been great that way too, but if you watch it all at once, I swear it doesn't feel as long as you imagine, I mean, yes, there's slow motion a lot, Snyder sometimes gets intense with his super stylized shots and yes, the epic church-like choirs every time Wonder Woman comes out are sometimes kind of unnecessary and even ridiculous.. but to be honest, those little things don't take away from how incredible the movie is in general, I have to say that certain parts, like Batman's dream scene at the end, don't quite fit with the main story. But something that did blow my mind is that, even though the movie is dark and serious, you still connect with the characters... the vibe between the members of the League is much better done, Batman is no longer a depressive emo for no reason, but a leader who truly trusts his team, Wonder Woman makes herself much more noticeable, Flash is funny but without being ridiculous... Even Aquaman, who doesn't really change that much from Whedon's version, has his moments, the connection between the heroes feels real, authentic, and Superman's impact on them is much more noticeable, making his return truly important, worth it! >A ver, tengo que decirle, que si no la han visto, les espera cuatro horas de película, ¡sí, cuatro horas! lo sé, de entrada suena como para pensarlo dos veces.. se suponía que iba a ser una miniserie, y la verdad, creo que así hubiera quedado genial también, pero si te la ves de una, te juro que no se siente tan larga como uno se imagina, o sea, sí, hay cámara lenta en muchas ocasiones, Snyder a veces se pone intenso con sus tomas recontra estilizadas y sí, los coros épicos onda iglesia cada vez que sale Wonder Woman a veces son como innecesarios y hasta ridículos.. pero siendo sincero, esas cositas no le quitan lo increíble que es la película en general, debo decir que ciertas partes, como la escena del sueño de Batman al final, como que no encajan del todo con la historia principal.
Pero algo que si me voló la cabeza es que, aunque la peli es oscura y seria, igual conectas con los personajes.. la onda entre los miembros de la Liga está mucho mejor lograda, Batman ya no es un emo depresivo sin motivo, sino un líder que de verdad confía en su equipo, Wonder Woman se hace notar mucho más, Flash es gracioso pero sin ser ridículo.. Zack Snyder gave us good things, yes, but I personally feel that he never fully understood the characters, he was always willing to add religious things, a lot of darkness, a lot of crudeness, a lot of "realism" in a universe that maybe didn't need it. I liked what Snyder did here, but I'm not a Snydertard, I agree that his path in the DC universe had to end, he contributed with what he could, and that's fine, he gave us a very complete and entertaining movie, and he made an unmatched cast... but it's time to let go of this vision, since it's impossible to go back to this formula. Me gustó lo que hizo Snyder aquí, pero no soy un Snydertard, estoy de acuerdo que su camino en el universo de DC tenía que terminar, aportó con lo que pudo, y eso esta bien, nos regaló una película muy completa y entretenida, e hizo un cast inigualable.. pero es momento de dejar ir esta visión, ya que es imposible volver a esta fórmula.
