Hace unos meses estuve jugando a S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl, lo jugué un par de horas y me pareció un buen juego, pero me enteré que había una versión hecha por fans que ofrecía una experiencia muchísimo mejor, a niveles increíbles, lo descargué y me puse a jugarlo, ahora no puedo parar, llevo muchísimas horas y estoy seguro que no he explorado ni la mitad de todo el contenido que tiene el juego ni las mecánicas, Anomaly es un mod basado en S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Prypiat, una de las 3 versiones de S.T.A.L.K.E.R, este mod ofrece una experiencia muy mejorada.

A few months ago I was playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl, I played it a couple of hours and I thought it was a good game, but I found out that there was a version made by fans that offered a much better experience, at incredible levels, I downloaded it and I started to play it, now I can't stop, I have been playing for a lot of hours and I'm sure I have not explored even half of all the content that the game has or the mechanics, Anomaly is a mod based on S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Prypiat, one of the 3 versions of S.T.A.L.K.E.R, this mod offers a much improved experience

This mod focuses more on roleplaying, to force you to think like a Ukrainian survivor surrounded by dangers, with many mechanics that will help you to survive in this dangerous world, where we have to take care of other humans belonging to other factions, or mutants that inhabit this world, we start as a nobody with few weapons and clothes that barely cover us from scratches, but we will improve, but it is not so easy, supplies and equipment for your character are very expensive, and from the beginning we already have other basic needs to cover, hunger, thirst, take care of the maintenance of our weapons and armor, because we will constantly have to go repairing everything that serves us to survive.

Este mod se enfoca más al roleo, a obligarte a pensar como un superviviente ucraniano rodeado de peligros, con muchas mecánicas que te ayudaran a sobrevivir en este peligroso mundo, donde tenemos que cuidarnos de otros humanos que pertenecen a otras facciones, o mutantes que habitan en todo este mundo, empezamos como un donnadie con pocas armas y vestimentas que apenas nos cubren de los rasguños, pero que iremos mejorando, pero no es tan fácil, los suministros y equipamiento para tu personaje son muy costosos, y desde un principio ya tenemos otras necesidades básicas que cubrir, el hambre, la sed, cuidar el mantenimiento de nuestras armas y armaduras, porque constantemente tendremos que ir reparando todo lo que nos sirva para sobrevivir.

Para sobrevivir podemos mejorar y personalizar nuestras armas y armaduras, y para eso necesitamos un conjunto de herramientas para manipular el arma y dinero para pagar el alquiler de una mesa de trabajo, podemos agregarle miras, silenciadores y muchos más accesorios, las piezas de las armas se van dañando con el uso, para reemplazar esas piezas podemos desarmar un arma con piezas similares para implementarlas en el arma que queremos mejorar, también podemos pagar una reparación con un ingeniero, pero es más costoso, las armas también se van deteriorando dependiendo del uso de las balas, si usamos balas viejas el arma se desgastará más rápido, y hay balas con diferentes funcionamientos, algunas son mejores para la penetración de tejido, las cuáles son útiles contra mutantes y humanos que no tengan una armadura blindada, las balas también son costosas y tenemos que saber cómo usarlas.

Armor, like weapons, can be customized and upgraded, in the same way as weapons, there are armors that are useful depending on our needs, armors that resist bullets better, armors that resist explosions better, armors that resist psychic factors better and even armors that resist radiation better, some armors have a helmet which we can not replace and others that do not have a helmet included, a way to get money is the search for artifacts, radioactive objects that we will look for with the help of a detector and a container to store them, these artifacts are in different areas, in electrical anomalies or highly radioactive areas, and for that we can make use of the necessary armor.

Las armaduras al igual que las armas las podemos personalizar y mejorar , de la misma manera que las armas, hay armaduras que son útiles dependiendo de nuestras necesidades, armaduras que resisten mejor a las balas, armaduras que resisten mejor a las explosiones, armaduras que resisten mejor a los factores psíquicos y hasta armaduras que resisten mejor a la radiación, algunas armaduras tienen un casco el cuál no podemos reemplazar y otras que no tienen un casco incluido, una manera de conseguir dinero es la busqueda de artefactos, objetos radiactivos que buscaremos con ayuda de un detector y un contenedor para almacenarlos, estos artefactos están en diferentes zonas, en anomalías eléctricas o zonas altamente radiactivas, y para eso podemos hacer uso de las armaduras necesarias.

Este mod tiene detalles increíbles como el hecho de que si llevamos un casco con una careta de cristal, podemos ver como se empaña con la respiración, el cómo se quiebra si nos pegan muchos tiros, y si llueve y nos empapamos la careta de cristal, al presionar una tecla el personaje hará la animación de pasarse la mano por la careta para limpiarla, si el arma está muy desgastada es muy probable que se encasquille y tengamos que recargar para desatascarla, detalles que hacen que el juego sea muy inmersivo y genial,

Hay muchísimas herramientas útiles que nos servirán, es un juego que tiene una curva de aprendizaje muy lenta por todas las cosas que tiene y el hecho de que nadie te las explica, lo cual a mi me parece muy bien, me gusta experimentar todo por mi mismo con puro ensayo y error, debes estar atento a todo, a los sonidos y constantemente estar vigilando tus alrededores, porque el más mínimo error te puede costar caro, tienes que ser muy precavido.

El mapa es gigante, un mundo lleno de lugares muy recónditos y tétricos en los cuales no puedes distraerte ni un segundo, hay zonas más difíciles que otras y zonas que son controladas por una facción, por eso no es recomendable ir a lugares si no tenemos un buen equipamiento, hay laboratorios, campamentos militares, edificios abandonados y todo tipo de lugares, y lo más genial es que a la gran mayoría de ellos podemos ingresar, podemos quitarle el loot a todo lo que matemos, esto nos sirve para ganar algo de dinero y conseguir suministros.

La IA de los npc me parece brutal, los enemigos saben moverse muy bien utilizando el entorno a su favor para acabar con nosotros, por eso no debemos subestimarlos, porque nos pueden sorprender, tienen muy buena puntería y un muy buen trabajo en equipo, es como si nos enfrentásemos a una persona real, el juego consigue dar esa impresión de que los npc tienen una vida detrás de lo que nos muestra, los vemos por ahí explorando, a veces conviviendo entre ellos mientras tocan instrumentos musicales, y lo mejor es que podemos hablar con ellos y conocerlos.

The AI of the npc seems brutal to me, the enemies know how to move very well using the environment to their advantage to kill us, so we should not underestimate them, because they can surprise us, they have very good aim and a very good teamwork, it is as if we were facing a real person, the game manages to give the impression that the npc have a life behind what it shows us, we see them out there exploring, sometimes living among them while playing musical instruments, and the best thing is that we can talk to them and get to know them.
