Under the sea in the Holozing universe

Espero sea un bonito día para todos, hoy he venido a mostrarles una nueva ilustración que he hecho inspirada en el universo de Holozing y sus criaturas, la protagonista se sumergió en las aguas y logro avistar a un grupo de criaturas tipo Beta acuáticas, que recuerdan a una foca del ártico, son unos seres muy adorables y pacíficos que disfrutan estar al lado de los buceadores, nadar en forma de espiral y hacer burbujas para divertir a los nadadores,

Hello, friends of the community!

I hope you're all having a great day. Today I'm here to show you a new illustration I've done inspired by the universe of Holozing and its creatures. The protagonist dove into the water and spotted a group of aquatic Beta-type creatures that resemble Arctic seals. They are very adorable and peaceful beings who enjoy being around divers, swimming in spirals, and blowing bubbles to entertain swimmers.

Para comenzar a realizar esta nueva ilustración tenia un par de ideas en una de ellas imaginaba a una entrenadora jugando con las focas fuera del agua y enseñándole algunos trucos, y la segunda que fue la que termine desarrollando, una nadadora tomando algunas fotos para el recuerdo bajo el agua nadando junto a ellas, mientras la rodean curiosos del objeto que lleva en su mano.
Una vez estuvo listo el dibujo procedí a colocar la base de color, por supuesto azul para el fondo, para la nadadora coloree el pelo y bikini rojizos y blanco de base para las focas.

To begin this new illustration, I had a couple of ideas. In one of them, I imagined a trainer playing with the seals out of the water and teaching them some tricks. The second idea, which is the one I ended up developing, was of a swimmer taking some souvenir photos underwater while swimming alongside them, as they surround her, curious about the object she is holding in her hand.
Once the drawing was ready, I proceeded to add the base color, blue for the background, of course. For the swimmer, I colored her hair and bikini reddish, and I used white as the base color for the seals.

Comencé con el coloreado de la piel y lo primero era seleccionar y delimitar las zonas en sombras y las mas iluminadas, luego de elegir los tonos que usaría para las zonas mas oscuras coloree el rostro en su mayoría en este nuevo tono y la sombra producida por el mismo sobre el cuello y hombros luego elegí un tono mas saturado para colocar entre la sombra y el tono medio y luminosos, también tome un tono lila para el tono reflejo en la piel.
Lo siguiente fue colorear el patrón en el pelaje de las focas, como tenia la base en blanco coloree entonces la parte en azul, en su rostro el patrón dibuja dos arcos para sus ojos desde su nariz y su espalda es azul y su panza blanca.

I started by coloring the skin, and the first thing I did was select and define the shadowed and most illuminated areas. After choosing the shades I would use for the darker areas, I colored most of the face in this new shade and the shadow it cast on the neck and shoulders. Then I chose a more saturated shade to place between the shadow and the medium and light tones, and I also used a lilac shade for the highlight on the skin.
The next step was to color the pattern on the seals' fur. Since the base was white, I colored the part in blue. On their faces, the pattern draws two arcs for their eyes from their noses, and their backs are blue and their bellies are white.

Pintado los personajes, me concentre en el fondo, para el cual ya había hecho un dibujo sencillo de lo que quería, algunas paredes con algas y corales en el fondo en dos capas diferentes y mas adelante algo mas de vegetación marina con mas algas y corales, ondeando en diferentes direcciones, y con tonos que simularan cada vez mas la cercanía, por ultimo dibujé algunos peces dorados nadando al rededor de la chica y las criaturas y otros mas pero en el fondo de la imagen.

After painting the characters, I concentrated on the background, for which I had already made a simple sketch of what I wanted: some walls with seaweed and coral in the background in two different layers, and further back, some more marine vegetation with more seaweed and coral, waving in different directions, and with tones that increasingly simulated proximity. Finally, I drew some goldfish swimming around the girl and the creatures, and others in the background of the image.

Y finalmente este es el resultado final de esta nueva ilustración inspirada en las nuevas criaturas reveladas de Holozing, a mi me encanto la armonía de los colores y lo pacifico de la escena, espero que también sea de su agrado.

And finally, this is the final result of this new illustration inspired by the newly revealed creatures of Holozing. I love the harmony of the colors and the peaceful nature of the scene. I hope you like it too.
