Sunsets can also have art in the sky.

Especially when the colors of the clouds are intense after a hot day.

At first, I want to share a look at the sky towards the west, and then I will show you what the east looked like.

It looked like strange little beings were floating along in joy, and colors embroiled the sky. Our Creator can at times show us real art in the clouds, and the warmth of the show had me taking my shirt off. We are now having to cope with very hot days, but the African sun is famous for its blazing heat. One can even feel great relief when the sun starts to set, but then again, the house, at night, is an oven. We have to sleep with the bedroom windows open, and sadly it doesn't make much of a difference, but at least it drops the degrees by one or two.
Come let me show you what we saw.

This photo below was my signal that it would be a great sunset.

And so, it was as I kept my focus on that flying little critter.

A crash in the clouds occurred, and it was time for me to go and look at the east.

Here below we will have a look a bit later in an easterly direction.

Look how the late sun colored our mountain.

It looked like someone was raking the sky.

Have a look at the mountain range on the horizon below the tree.

How is this for a colored sky?

And finally, this was a look back at home.

I have taken a few more photos of the last picture, and I will share it in another post, as it was very, very cool. We love the sunsets, not only because they bring relief that the day is over, but also because they are never the same. I have posted many sunsets on my blog over time, and each and every one was a pleasure to watch. It evokes a feeling of wonder within, and if I could paint, I would have painted each and every one of them. But I cannot paint, and so I have to be content with what I get on the camera.

I see there are storms and snow in many areas in the northern hemisphere, and my thought was to bring you some heat just to remember that your summer is also on its way. Then it will be winter here in the southern hemisphere, but our winters, thankfully, never drop below zero degrees. Although I have to say that there are some towns in the country that do go below zero degrees, for instance Sutherland in the northern cape, but in our area, we don't have freezing temperatures like that.
Such is life.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and story.
