Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! I hadn't shared this drawing here before; I did it a few months ago. I had tried to draw it, but it didn't turn out the way I had planned at the time, so I redrew it and this was the result. I hope you like it.

Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! No había compartido este dibujo por acá, lo hice hace unos meses atrás. Lo había intentado dibujar, pero no me había salio como tenia pensado en su momento, así que lo volví a dibujar y este fue el resultado, espero les guste.

I started by sketching the character, taking into account the original reference. I also used several references of boys that I found on Pinterest, as I wanted to make my character somewhat muscular and wasn't quite sure how to execute or structure the drawing.

Comencé haciendo el boceto del personaje, tomando en cuenta la referencia original. También me ayude de varias referencias de chicos que busque por Pinterest, ya que tenia pensado hacer mi personaje un tanto musculoso y no sabia muy bien como ejecutar o estructurar todo del dibujo.

Once I had the sketch ready, I worked on the details, creating good line art so that it was ready to start painting. I begin by adding a base color to the entire character, in this case the base skin color. After that, I continue adding the base color for each element of the character.

Cuando tuve el boceto listo, lo que hice fue detallarlo bien, haciendo un buen line art y así dejarlo listo para comenzar a pintarlo. Comienzo agregando un colo base a todo el personaje, en este caso seria el color base de la piel. Luego de ello, sigo agregando el color base para cada elemento en el personaje.

Now that I have the entire drawing with its base colors added, I start to add details. I begin by working on a basic background for the drawing and playing around with different shades to achieve overall harmony. In the end, I went for a cool color palette, since the character is mostly wearing purple clothes.

Ya que tengo todo el dibujo con sus colores base agregados, lo que hago es comenzar a detallar todo. Inicie trabajando un fondo básico para el dibujo y jugando un poco con diferentes tonos, para lograr conseguir una armonía general. Al final me fui por una paleta de color fría, ya que el personaje tiene en su mayoría, ropa de color morada.

When I have almost finished the illustration, I add the final details to it. Highlights, color adjustments, and other things that I work on to finish the drawing. It took me several days to finish this drawing, but this is how the work turned out.

Cuando tengo casi listo toda la ilustración, lo que hago es agregar los últimos detalles finales a la misma. Brillos, ajustes de color y demás cosas que voy trabajando para terminar con el dibujo. Fue un dibujo que si me llevo varios días terminar, pero así quedo este trabajo.
