Those who regularly play Splinterlands know that this game is not just a card game; it is like a long war. When a season ends and a new season begins every 15 days, the excitement that works in our minds is difficult to describe in words. Today I am going to share with you my last-minute achievement of the last season and an incredible experience of starting a new season. Today is a little special for me, because I witnessed one of the ‘Jackpot’ moments of my gaming career.

Last season’s struggles and achievements:

The coming season was very challenging and successful for me at the same time. I was able to achieve Gold 1 as my highest league tier. Those who play regularly know very well how difficult it is to survive in the Gold League and move up. It was a huge struggle to strengthen my position by managing the opponent's strategy and card combinations.

Not only in the League tier, but also in the Modern Silver leaderboard, I took 69th place. This ranking is a huge achievement for me, because being in the top 100 among thousands of gamers means proving my skills. As a reward, I received a total of 44,245 End of Season Glints. In addition, an additional 6,250 Glints were added to my account as a leaderboard bonus. This huge amount of Glints will be of great use for my future card upgrades and shopping.

The beginning of the new season and that desired moment:

After the season ended, when the new season started, I decided to open my first pack with a heavy heart. We all have a hidden desire in our hearts that - yikes! If only we could get a great card. At that moment, a wonderful thing happened. As soon as I opened the pack, that amazing scene appeared on the screen. I got my desired jackpot card—‘Aimee Whisperwind’!

Many people might calculate the market value of the card. They would say that its price is not very high. But as a dedicated gamer, the value of a card to me depends not only on its dollar value, but also on the moment of receiving it. The first day of the new season, the first pack opening, and seeing such a rare or special card—for me, that is the real jackpot! It is like a wonderful sign of fate that this season is bringing something better for me.

Prize bags and other receipts:

Apart from the jackpot card, the receipts from my reward boxes were eye-catching. As I was opening the boxes one by one, the necessary items were coming up on the screen one after another:

1. Stonebind Matron: This card of the Earth element will strengthen my deck.

2. Energy: I got 1 and 4—a total of 5 energy. We all know how important energy is to keep fighting in the game. This extra energy will allow me to play more matches and win rewards.

3. Merits: I got 36 and 20—a total of 56 merits. These will be great for improving my guild and buying items from the guild shop.

4. Potions: I also got some potions needed to increase card opening luck, which will make my luck better in future pack openings.

Personal feelings:

The game Splinterlands has taught me patience and waiting for the right time. Sometimes we don't get good cards even after a lot of hard work, and sometimes luck brings great success the first time. Getting this jackpot card today and reaching Gold 1 last season—all in all, my gaming journey is now at a unique height. The mental satisfaction you get when AI cards come to life on the battlefield, and when you work your own strategy and win, is incomparable.

Behind my achievement was regular practice and trying to understand the correct use of cards. The new season has just started, and there is a long way to go. My goal is to do better this season and maybe try to reach the Diamond League.
