Space ID: A complete analysis of 2025 and my personal observations

2025 was a year of extreme excitement and patience for the crypto market. When Bitcoin hit the $100,000 milestone at the beginning of the year, there was euphoria all around. Then, when the market went into consolidation, many projects were put on hold. But I have been closely monitoring SPACE ID's activities for the past few days, and I feel that despite this market volatility, they have not budged from their main goal. Rather, they have used this time to strengthen their 'infrastructure'.

While I was looking through their roadmap and achievements for the whole year, I noticed several interesting things. I am highlighting them below in my own way.
1. User Utility
To me, Space ID's biggest success in 2025 is its 'Payment ID' feature. Those of us who trade crypto always find it stressful to copy and paste long, awkward addresses when depositing funds to centralised exchanges (CEX). Space ID has done the work here. Now there is no need to memorise or copy addresses; funds can be transferred with a simple human-readable name.
Their integration with major platforms like CoinStats at the beginning of the year and later Enkrypt Wallet or KuCoin Wallet proves that they are adapting their technology to the existing habits of users. Instead of forcing users to a new platform, they are delivering benefits where they are.
2. Focus on AI and Future Technology
While everyone is busy with hype, Space ID has been quietly working on the 'AI-Agent Economy'. I noticed that they launched .g (Gravity) and .0g domains, which will basically act as identities for AI agents. In the future, when AI agents transact with each other, they will also need a verified identity. Space ID has understood this now. Launching .ip domains along with the Story Protocol is also a big step in protecting intellectual property.
3. Huge ecosystem expansion
The numbers are actually surprising. I checked the data and saw that at the end of the year, their registered domains exceeded 6.7 million, and the number of unique holders or owners was about 2.7 million. They are in the top 3 in MetaMask Snaps, which proves that ordinary users are actually using their tools.
Not only that, they have spread themselves across more than 25 blockchain networks. Block explorers (e.g. Blockscout, BscScan) now show people's names instead of looking at the gibberish addresses, which has made it much easier for ordinary users to use Web3.
4. Not lagging behind in community and culture
Apart from technical work, they have also paid attention to the cultural side. Bringing the .four domain for Floki or the meme token community was a smart move. Through this, they were able to onboard the huge meme community to their platform. Also, their domain integration in Snapshot or DAO voting has madedecentralisedd governance more transparent.

My final words and expectations for 2026
My research says that what Space ID did in 2025 was basically "laying the foundation stone". They have shown that Web3 Identity is not just a fancy domain name, but an essential part of the entire financial system.
The way they plan to work on 'Data Infrastructure' and 'AI-Native Finance' next year, i.e. 2026, it seems that they will not be limited to just an identity project. They are probably going to create an ecosystem where AI and human financial data will work seamlessly with each other.
Friends, 2025 was a year of "execution" for them, and I believe we will see the results of this work on a larger scale in the coming days.
