Happy New Year , Everyone! 🎊🤗

How are you all? I hope everyone's doing well. The year 2026 is finally here , and we are praying for more blessings, happiness, opportunities, and abundance for this year. Not all families are able to welcome the new year together , because some members have passed away while others still need to work on New Year's Day. Nevertheless, we should always be thankful for the life we have , no matter how difficult our circumstances may be. Don't forget that God still lets us breathe, feel His presence , and guide us.

By the way , this is how we welcomed the New Year. A simple but heartfelt celebration with our loved ones. We helped each other with decorations, including a banner for 2026. At 9 PM we went to church to attend Mass. It was supposed to start at 9:30 , but we arrived early so we wouldn't be late.

The Mass ended at almost 11 PM, so we went home immediately to prepare the food. We also woke up our siblings who were sleeping because it was almost 12 AM. My sister was so sleepy and a bit in a bad mood at first. I remembered that we were like this when we were kids too 😅 . We took pictures for a while since there was still time.
And... tick tock, tick tock ... it's 12 AM already!

Some of us started jumping, greeting each other, and hugging one another. There were also people lighting fireworks , and some making noise with their motorcycles, and more. There was so much going on at that time—it was really lively then—and of course, giving thanks to God was not forgotten.

After a while, the surroundings started to quiet down a bit, so we began eating after offering our prayer, just like we always do. Having good communication , feeling happiness, showing love, and sharing gratitude is a beautiful way to start a new year.
Last year was filled with happiness, disappointment, joy, and frustration at times. There were mixed emotions and different struggles that everyone faced , yet we are still standing strong and always fighting. We have overcome the challenges we experienced in the year 2025. I hope we will be even stronger and braver this year. Keep fighting and praying !😊
