Magandang buhay!

Finally back home, after being away since Sunday morning.

Along the way, the hubby needed to use the loo, so we stopped by a place called Loyung's, a cafe and restaurant that has a spacious parking area and a pay toilet for travelers.

Instead of waiting in the truck, I thought we'd take the chance to look around, because I spotted the artificial (man-made) waterfall at the front of the comfort rooms. So Yongi and I went closer to check it out, and of course, click... click... click!

We proceeded to the garden, where we observed that it had not been maintained well. Some of the plants are wilting and dying. It appeared they had not been watered for some time. While there, we noticed the shadows and couldn't resist taking photos.

"They somehow lost their creativity in this garden," the hubby said when he followed us. "Maybe they just didn't have the time or manpower to continue with what they planned for this to be," I replied. In my mind, I know we would be surprised one day when it is filled with thriving plants and flowers.

Anyway, we took a few more photos with the lovely shadows.

One more shot as we exited the garden. (I didn't realize the structure at the far end is a garage until I was making this post. Not very observant, huh!)

We left the place with the hope that the next time we drop by, either for a call of nature or to have a meal, we would see the garden in a more lively state. I was thankful for the wee stop, because of it, I now have something to show off for the Shadow Hunting before the new year arrives😊 (Although this is not meant to be entered in the contest).

Thank you lots, and until next time!
