So goes my life as I am daily awake at 3am. This is without alcohol in my system going to sleep. So yesterday morning I got my post up and then scrolled around looking for a good picture of Sneezeweed for the daily prompt. The weather is such shit right now we are in full on Spring. There was all of a week of Winter so far.

Got the boys to school with the roads icy and the clouds rebuilding though they didn't amount to much over the day. It is a constant battle right now to keep the pain at bay in my hips and I am super anxious for my podiatry appointment. They are going to get a litany of various issues not just the one I am going in for. Many years of pain and I hope to get some better answers finally.

My 3d capabilities are still shite but I'm trying.

Mid morning I decided on another hike with the dog as the snow and ice were not really melted yet for a bike ride. We went up the hill and I saw all the mosses damn near glowing they are so happy with the temps and moisture.

The fir trees give the moss a nice roof that protects it from the snow load... if we had any...

The valley is near melted off and the river is showing the melt with a bit of a rise.

We were heading along the outer fence line and Jax would catch a smell and dart off. I was watching in case he caught scent of a den or something. We got to this one bush and holy shit was he interested. He smell the entire bush, climbed into the middle of it and reached for higher branches. I have zero clue what could have been on the entire bush. That would have been one hell of a big spray from a coyote....

As we headed back to the house I scoured the ground for more owl vomit but found none under the trees back away from the edge of the hill...

I did find this crazy cup fungi. A sole lone one on this piece of wood.

Got my others done and am learning more with each day. The sketch book I am using is only 100lb paper so isn't great with the wetter watercolors and likes to scruff off bit of the paper.

PDC World Masters is ongoing so watched that mid day and then headed out to the sheep to roll in a new bale. Nicely they are taking longer to eat one so this should last well over a month. They also had to have it as I got grain this morning and they MUST have hay to moderate the grain intake so they don't bloat.

Picked R up after STEM, got dinner made, then went out and got the trailer hooked up to the car.

I have been to town for the grain and already unloaded it into the pen. The sheep and alpaca were not super interested as they have had a big pile to work off for the last week. It IS raining and we got a nice little bit. Looks like it won't do much today. I will get the boys to school in an hour-ish, do my dailies, cut back more trees by the power wire for the fiber run tomorrow, PDC is on, still fighting with the printer, truck work hopefully, a bike ride now that it is melted, come up with dinner, and try to keep the pain at bay the best I can.
