Happy new week and a beautiful Monday to you all in this great community, i hope you all had i lovely weekend, its the beginning of another new week with beautiful creativity from me, my weekend was so busy as i had an event to attend likewise my neighbor who was to attend an introduction of one of her close friends, she wanted to attend the event in a simple outfit but with a matching color handbag and she requested that i help her to make one of tge fabric bags i use to make with a blue fabric since the color code is blue and white. I will be sharing with you today the step by step process of making this beautiful hand bag i made for my neighbor with two zippers.

This is one thing i love to do and i appreciate the fact that people around me love what i do, to some, it might not be fashionable but to people like me, i love things made by me to showcase my creativity, gradually people see this and appreciate it as well. This bag is made with two colors of fabric with side zipper as well and handle to carry it, it is big enough to contain some little items, join me as i take you through the cutting and sewing process, I'm sure you will like the beautiful outcome just as my neighbor did.

First thing i did was to cut out the main fabric for the bag measuring 15 x 11 in two places with interfacing ironed on it

To combine the other color, i measured and cut out 2 pieces of white fabric measuring 15 x 3" with interfacing ironed on it

I cut out lining of 15 x 12" for tge side pocket

For the handle, i measured 20 x 4" from the blue fabric which was folded in 2 and to the middle as well and sewn on both sides toake the handle

I picked one of the blue fabric and white with zipper sewn to the middle and lining for the side pocket with the handle sewn to both sides

The other two fabric were sewn together and top stitched on the right side with the handle sewn to it as well and it was used to cut out lining for both sides

The lining was sewn on the main fabric with zipper and it was repeated on the other side with the zipper at the middle, i placed fabric to fabric and lining to lining and it was sewn together on both sides then i marked 1 x 1.5" on the 4 sides and cut it out.

The 4 sides were sewn together and it was turned inside out through the zipper opening and this is the final and beautiful outcome

This was actually done in a hurry that was why i couldn't get all the pictures but it was finally done and delivered. I hope you like the beautiful outcome.
