Hello everyone

Greetings to you all in this great community @hivediy i hope you are all doing great and having a good time out there, its so nice to be back here after taking a short break in order to attend to other pressing issues, well, thank God I'm back and now, that I'm back, i will be sharing beautiful creativity with you with much love from my sewing room. Today, i will be sharing with you all the making of this beautiful red fabric flower made from fabric scraps.

As you may have known, i love to make beautiful crafts from left over fabrics, these fabrics are ordinarily meant to be trash out but with my creativity, i decided to make useful items from these fabrics like this fabric flower which can be used to design some of our work for a stylish outcome. Sometimes as a seamstress, after making an outfit, i use some of the left over fabrics to make accessories to the outfit to make it stand out and unique, this accessories are so unique that it is so different from what is usually sold in stores, this has really helped to improve my creativity and sewing skills. This fabric flower is made from simple material that you can easily get around you, join me as i take you through to making process.

From my pieces of left over fabrics, i measured and cut out 6 pieces of circles measuring 2.5" diameter

Each piece was laid on the other overlapping at the middle

I took my hand needle and matching color thread to run a long stitch at the middle as it overlap each other

The last piece was used to overlap the first one and i ran a long stitch on it as well

The thread was dragged to make a gather at the middle just as seen below and it was tightly secured

The bottom was trimmed off and the top was opened up to give me this beautiful look

Finally, i used my gum to glue this silver applique to the middle to give it this beautiful outcome.

You can see how unique and beautiful this is, it can be used as an accessory on your outfit, cap, turban or to design your tote bags and many more.

Join me in my next post as i bring you more creativities and im sure you will like it.

Thanks so much for your time, support, comment and encouragement. Until my next post, do have a great and productive day.
