Negative point, the game can get repetitive in the middle, like any RPG, to get all the endings you must do certain things, and this can be heavy, but it's a process that you can finish in its entirety in less than 35 hours if you are not interested in getting 100% and just want to see the endings, I must say that all these endings are WORTH IT and you should not skip any, especially the new ending E of Replicant 1.22. Story and Soundtrack

If there is one thing that justifies getting into this world, it is definitely the story, its setting, and its music, I would especially highlight the music because the soundtrack is out of this world, perfect for every moment and that puts you head first in situation and transmits the precise emotion that you should feel at that moment, something that I really like, is that according to the situation the music has "layers", which are added according to what is happening, it's just fucking amazing, as certain character would say. But without a doubt, the best thing that NieR Replicant has to offer is its story, its post-apocalyptic world, and its different layers of narrative, for those who don't know the creator of NieR, Yoko Taro, his narrative is based on repetition, in making you play through the game several times but every time you do it, you will learn something new that will make you see the story in another way, and I think that's what NieR handles so well, the way they give you the information, you know ONLY what they want you to know, what they want you to see, and what they want you to understand, and when you finish the game, you see everything in another way, all spun in a masterful way. An interesting addition to Replicant 1.22 is that all the characters have their respective voice, which brings me to the last point I wanted to comment, the characters, I don't consider myself a critical person, I like to enjoy things in a simple way, it may sound simplistic, but it's better than nothing is good enough for you to enjoy it, eliminating this factor, I think the characters are well written, and yes or yes you will get attached to any of them, or several, as was my case, I think the basic thing for a story to matter is that you care about their characters, and this is achieved quite well. I can't say too much without falling into spoilers, and I understand that everything I'm talking about may in some way or another already be present in other games that offer the same, but believe me when I tell you that Yoko Taro's way of telling a story is unique, and is something that, like many other games, deserves that each of you are able to experience without someone else ruining it, I tell you, that after finishing the post I'm going to the psychologist (just kidding). A final clarification, is that if you want to play NieR and don't know where to start, between Replicant and Automata, I recommend you to play Replicant first, because it goes chronologically before, and although many people say no, there is a relationship between both and the first one puts you in context for some things of the second one, I still don't play Automata, but that's what I have been told, if you really don't want to go through Replicant, it's valid, but the recommendation is not to skip it. Hablando más directamente del juego, ¿recuerdan esa época en la que todo empezó a ser mundo abierto? fue llegar a la generación de PS3 y empezar a ver títulos como Assassin’s Creed y Borderlands que tomaban este rumbo, a día de hoy tenemos montones y MONTONES de juegos de mundo abierto, con mapas cada vez más y más grandes que dan pereza pensar en recorrer, en cambio, NieR Replicant tiene un mapa que una vez lo exploras todo, resulta pequeño comparado a los mapas que tenemos hoy en día, pero es más que suficiente para su propósito, en todo momento tendremos una X que nos marca a dónde deberíamos ir, aparte de tener misiones secundarias para ganar dinero o diferentes armas, por lo que no tienes que irte a explorar demasiado. Punto negativo, el juego se puede hacer repetitivo a la mitad, como cualquier RPG, para sacar todos los finales debes hacer ciertas cosas, y esto puede resultar pesado, pero es un proceso que puedes terminar en su totalidad en menos de 35 horas si no te interesa sacar el 100% y solo quieres ver los finales, debo decir que todos estos finales VALEN LA PENA y no deberías omitir ninguno, especialmente el nuevo final E de Replicant 1.22. Como ya les enseñé la primera vez que hablé del juego, es un hack n’ slash donde combates intercambiando ataques físicos y mágicos, en Replicant 1.22 el gameplay está renovado, pero pude jugar también al Nier en Xbox 360 y me parece perfectamente disfrutable, de cualquier forma, todo esto es irrelevante cuando llegamos a las dos grandes y principales razones por las cuales DEBERÍAN jugar NieR Replicant. Historia y Soundtrack

Si hay una cosa que justifica adentrarse en este mundo, es definitivamente la historia, su ambientación, y su música, especialmente destacaría la música porque la banda sonora está fuera de este mundo, perfecta para cada momento y que te mete de cabeza en situación y te transmite la emoción precisa que deberías sentir en ese momento, algo que me gusta mucho, es que según la situación la música tiene “capas”, que se van agregando según lo que vaya ocurriendo, simplemente es una gozada. Pero sin lugar a dudas, lo mejor que tiene NieR Replicant para ofrecer es su historia, su mundo post-apocalíptico, y sus diferentes capas de narrativa, para quienes no conozcan al creador de NieR, Yoko Taro, su narrativa se basa en la repetición, en hacerte pasar varias veces el juego pero cada vez que lo haces, aprenderás algo nuevo que te hará ver la historia de otra forma, y creo que eso es lo que maneja tan bien el NieR, la forma en la que te dan la información, tú sabes SOLO lo que quieren que sepas, lo que quieren que veas, y lo que quieren que entiendas, y cuando terminas el juego, ves todo de otra forma, todo hilado de forma magistral. Una adición interesante a Replicant 1.22 es que todos los personajes tienen su respectiva voz, cosa que me lleva al último punto que quería comentar, los personajes, yo no me considero una persona crítica pues, me gusta disfrutar las cosas de una forma sencilla, puede sonar simplista, pero es mejor a que nada sea lo suficientemente bueno para que lo puedas disfrutar, eliminando este factor, considero que los personajes están bien escritos, y sí o sí te encariñarás con alguno de ellos, o varios, como fue mi caso, creo que lo básico para que una historia te importe es que te preocupes por sus personajes, y esto lo logran bastante bien. No puedo decir demasiado sin caer en spoilers, y comprendo que todo lo que comento puede de alguna u otra forma estar ya presente en otros juegos que ofrecen lo mismo, pero créanme cuando les digo que la forma que tiene Yoko Taro de contar una historia es única, y es algo que, como muchos otros juegos, merece que cada uno de ustedes sea capaz de experimentar sin que alguien más se las arruine, se los digo yo, que después de terminar el post me voy al psicólogo (es broma). Una aclaración final, es que si desean jugar NieR y no saben por dónde empezar, entre Replicant y Automata, les recomiendo jugar primero Replicant, ya que va cronológicamente antes, y aunque mucha gente diga que no, hay relación entre ambos y el primero te pone en contexto para algunas cosas del segundo, aún no juego Automata, pero es lo que me han contado, si de verdad no quieren pasar por Replicant, es válido, pero la recomendación es que no lo salten.
