The first thought i had was: What colors do the Venezuelan flag is made of? So i looked into the interwebs, found the colors and together with this statement: „… by asking them to show their thoughts through a painting or drawing on A4 paper.“ i pretty much immediately had the base idea layed out in my mind. The yellow of the flag would be some kind of paperlike background, blue is gonna be the text, Red is the HIVE stuff of course and for the white i had a chain of silhouettes of people in mind. Everything else was thrown around and brainstormed in my head on the go while preparing the background, choosing the fonts, creating the title and laying out the rest of the necessary information.

Next up i needed some representation of a Network as a background, preferably in blue, on top of which i could build a blockchain out of red HIVE logos then. The silhouettes of the people along the „logochain“ was a piece of work and they represent the white stars of the venezuelan flag on one hand and the HIVE community and it‘s diversity that stands together hand in hand, backing the chain and helping the chain escape from the technical background on the other hand. This might look a bit crowded at first sight and initially i tried to spread this out a little more. While playing around with it i realized the connection needed to be close. Doesn‘t our beloved blockchain feel a bit crowded with ALL the different dApps and people, in a positive way, sometimes also?!

To finish this i came back to the thought of the yellow paper and what this poster is all about, a drawing contest, so i needed a few tools the kids would use it, a brush and a pencil would do i thought and tadaa … my design was ready. I hope you like it. 🖖🏼☀️🤙🏼
