Night Stroll to IT Park via Grand Residences

Hello everyone!
I briefly mentioned in my Cebu Business Park post about this subdivision in Kasambagan where I felt like I was transported to a different country. It's not really a subdivision but a condominium complex. I imagined it to be a prime location because of its proximity to Ayala and IT Park. As skyrise buildings start to pop up in the coming years, since construction is still visible in that area, it would be awesome to be standing in the middle of the property. Of course, with development comes problems. I just hope they will continue constructing green belts and natural landscapes.
For context of this night stroll, I decided to meet with @indayclara to get my camera because she borrowed it last year for a photoshoot. Since I don't have the money yet, I told her that I'll just visit her house and then get the camera. When I arrived, she invited me for a dinner or something. We initially agreed to just have some street food, but we ended up in IT Park. It was a good choice because we were able to have a night stroll and I was able to take photos of Grand Residences.

From the gate of the condominium complex in Kasambagan side, we were immediately greeted by the mini park. There were a lot of fur parents walking with their cute dogs in the mini park. Of course, I didn't take photos of them because I felt it's a private place and for sure, they valued their privacy.

What I love about the mini park are the semi-circular benches. In such a small space, you would have plenty of locations to sit down, rest, or just admire the well-lit park. At the middle is a small pond or fountain with a gazebo that's connected by a small bridge.

We stayed at the gazebo for a while to talk about what happened to our 2024. It was sort of a year-end review and also a trauma dump because we agreed that 2024 was not our year. We are hopeful for 2025, but our expectations were not too high anymore. I thought I'll just ride to the flow of life.

After that much needed introspection, we decided to go to the swimming pool area. I was surprised that there were a lot of kids with uniform shirts. @indayclara said that there is a function hall where the Koreans have their winter camp. Anyway, just sharing that I was amazed by those kids who got to experience summer or winter camps.

The swimming pool area is spacious and offers a vantage view of the whole complex. It was in this location that I imagined towering condominiums and office spaces will rise up in the future. It would be an awesome sight to see.

From the swimming pool area, we passed by the function hall and got out of the lobby. The entrance at the IT Park side can immediately be seen here. As the Kasambagan gate serves like a backdoor, the main entrance is located in Gov. M. Cuenco Avenue, facing IT Park.

This is the entrance of the complex with the signage. I just love how modern the designs are while natural landscapes are still placed at the center of residential towers. As they have called it, it's an urban resort lifestyle. Towers 1, 2, and 3 are already in different stages of development while Towers 4 and 5 are still to rise at the opposite side of Towers 1 and 2. By the way, this is not a paid post about the place, but upon research, I just realized that 3.2 hectare residential community is real estate development project of the Gaisano Group of companies. You might ask why I'm attracted to the place? Gaisano Group of companies is the reason why I was able to finish college. They provided my scholarship in which I didn't pay anything from tuition fees to books.

This is the road going to the gate and the access to IT Park. I just love @indayclara's location because it's in the middle of Cebu's hot spots while still offering privacy and quiet reprieve.

I guess that's all for this post! See you on the next one.
