Good night or good morning everyone, hope u all doing great.

This piece was fully made in Photoshop, which is the tool I feel most comfortable with right now. I’ve used Corel Painter before, but these days I just haven’t been using it, so I stuck with what feels natural and familiar. The focus here was mainly on the process itself, working steadily and without overthinking things too much. There wasn’t a deep concept behind it, just sitting down, working, and letting the image come together step by step. Nothing fancy, just keeping it real and trusting the workflow.

I started this piece using a base sketch, mainly to lock in the pose and overall structure. Having that from the beginning helped a lot, since I didn’t have to keep adjusting the position later on. It wasn’t something rigid, just a guide to build on. From there, everything was developed on top of that base, making small changes when needed as the piece progressed.

With the pose already figured out, I could focus more on proportions and overall balance instead of going back and forth on the basics. This stage was pretty technical and calm, just checking that everything felt right visually. Tbh, when the base is solid, the rest of the process becomes way easier to handle and a lot less stressful.

Working in Photoshop made the whole process smoother for me. It’s the program I use the most, so I didn’t have to think about tools, shortcuts, or setup. Everything just flowed naturally. I kept things simple, using brushes I already know and organizing layers in a way that let me make changes without messing up what was already done.

Even though I’ve worked with Corel Painter before, I just haven’t been using it lately. There wasn’t any deep reason behind that, it’s just about comfort. Sometimes sticking with the tool that feels right at the moment is the best move. No need to force a change just for the sake of it.

This piece was also worked on during a stream, which definitely affects the rhythm. Drawing live makes you more aware of what you’re doing, since everything happens in real time. There were pauses, small corrections, and a lot of checking things twice. It wasn’t about speed or showing off results, just about working normally and letting the process be visible as it is.

During the stream, a lot of the work was in small adjustments. Tiny changes in proportions, fixing the base, deciding what to keep and what to drop. These things don’t always stand out in the final image, but they matter a lot. Most of the real work happens in those subtle decisions, even if they’re barely noticeable.

When it came to finishing the piece, I tried not to overwork it. I focused on keeping the image clean and readable. There were moments where I could’ve added more detail, but I chose not to. Knowing when to stop is part of the process too, and this piece was a good reminder of that. Lol, more detail doesn’t always mean a better result😌.

The feedback during the stream didn’t really change the direction of the piece, but it was still useful. Hearing comments while you work makes you think more clearly about your choices, even if you don’t change anything. It’s like reviewing your own process in real time, and that always helps in some way.

In the end, this piece is just the result of a straightforward process: starting with a base sketch for the pose, building the image on top of that, working comfortably in Photoshop, and sharing the whole thing during a stream. No extra layers, no forced ideas, just steady work until the image felt done. And honestly, that’s enough.

Thank you very much for taking the time to view my work.

Oh, and one more thing before I wrap up...
