Buenas, hermosa comunidad de Mascotas en Hive. Primero, antes que nada, FELIZ AÑO NUEVO. Que tengan un hermoso comienzo de año y que se les cumpla todo lo que no pudieron obtener en el 2025. Que sea un gran año para toda la humanidad y para nuestras mascotas.

Este post tal vez sea el último por un largo tiempo porque el protagonista de todas mis redes sociales, aquel que se llevaba los comentarios, que divertía con sus locuras, gestos, mimos, ya no está más conmigo.

Este post es más un cierre definitivo, ya que quedo atrapado en el año que terminó y necesito honrarlo en donde supieron quererlo, que es aquí, en esta red y en este canal específicamente para mascotas. Comienzo a ponerles en contexto lo que fue este último mes para mí y mi hermoso Bartolo.

A finales del mes de noviembre de 2025, Bartolo comenzó a tener problemas para hacer pis. Notamos que iba continuamente a las piedritas sanitarias y volvía. Iba y volvía, pero a veces notábamos que sí iba, porque notábamos mojada la pelela. En un momento mi madre nota que no se siente bien, así que decidimos llevarlo al veterinario. Bartolo era un gato de 8 años de edad con cientos de situaciones de vida y muerte por lo inquieto que era, pero nunca tuvo un episodio médico grave. Yo, cuando noté ciertos llantos, ya me partía el alma. Lamentablemente, en todos los demás problemas o accidentes que tuvo Bartolo de pequeño, me paralizaba y no podía estar junto a él. Eso me ponía mal porque yo sentía y debía estar a su lado cuando más me necesitaba, pero no podía. Era la primera vez que no podía ver a mi gato cuando estaba mal. Tuve muchos gatos en mi vida, unos 11, de los cuales consideraba míos a unos 3, contando a Bartolo. Los otros dos fueron Rayo (yo era niño en ese entonces) y el otro era Lotto (era adolescente).

Hello, beautiful Hive Pets community. First and foremost, HAPPY NEW YEAR! May you have a wonderful start to the year and may all your wishes for 2025 come true. May it be a great year for all of humanity and for our pets.

This post may be my last for a long time because the star of all my social media, the one who garnered so many comments, who entertained us with his antics, gestures, and affection, is no longer with me.

This post is more of a final farewell, as I'm stuck in the past year and need to honor him where he was loved so much, which is here, on this network and on this channel specifically for pets. Let me give you some context about what this last month was like for me and my beautiful Bartolo.

At the end of November 2025, Bartolo started having trouble urinating. We noticed he was constantly going to the litter box and then coming back. He would go back and forth, but sometimes we knew he was going because we'd notice his litter box was wet. At one point, my mother noticed he wasn't feeling well, so we decided to take him to the vet. Bartolo was an 8-year-old cat who had experienced countless life-or-death situations because of his restlessness, but he'd never had a serious medical episode. When I heard him crying, it broke my heart. Unfortunately, in all the other problems or accidents Bartolo had as a kitten, I froze and couldn't be with him. That upset me because I felt I should be there for him when he needed me most, but I couldn't. It was the first time I hadn't been able to see my cat when he was sick. I've had many cats in my life, about 11, of which I considered about 3 mine, including Bartolo. The other two were Rayo (I was a child at the time) and Lotto (I was a teenager).

Ahora yo, más maduro y con más fuerza mental, estuve en todo momento junto a él. Al llegar al veterinario, este notó que podría llegar a ser un problema de piedritas en la vejiga. Le dio un par de inyecciones y esperábamos hasta el día de mañana. Al otro día, cuando llegamos, el médico veterinario notó que tenía una gran acumulación de pis, así que decidió operarlo de inmediato, colocándole una sonda para que el pis pueda salir. Nos avisó de que si no podía destaparlo con la sonda, el gatito iba a morir. Eso fue muy fuerte y por dentro mío comencé a rezar por él. Mi mamá a un costado estaba sufriendo mientras escuchaba. La sonda al principio no entraba; eran malas noticias. De golpe, en el segundo intento, por fin ingresó. El médico comenzó a sacar con la jeringa la orina acumulada. Le saco 8 jeringas grandes llenas. Eso fue un alivio para mi Bartolo, pero aún había que esperar 5 días con la sonda para ver si se obstruía con algo más o si realmente se destapó.

En todo esto, teníamos al médico veterinario que se iba de vacaciones o que había feriados en el medio. Fue la peor fecha para que le pasara algo. Teníamos teléfonos de otros médicos por si lo necesitábamos, pero eso ya me ponía muy nervioso. Al volver a casa, tuve a mi bebé en mi habitación, esperando que se le pasara la anestesia. Poco a poco iba recuperando el conocimiento y se movía. La primera noche me acompañó mi madre querida, que se acostó junto a mí, mientras entre toallas y bolsas de plástico mi gatito se acomodaba entre mis piernas. Creo que la primera noche, por verlo a él, habré dormido 2 o 3 horas. A partir de ahí tuve que realizar un plan para que me lo cuide mi familia hasta que yo despertara de una siesta o durmiera unas horas.

Now, more mature and with greater mental strength, I was by his side every step of the way. When we arrived at the vet, he suspected it might be a bladder stone problem. He gave him a couple of injections, and we waited until the next day. The following day, when we arrived, the vet noticed a large accumulation of urine, so he decided to operate immediately, inserting a catheter to allow the urine to drain. He warned us that if he couldn't clear the blockage with the catheter, the kitten would die. That was very difficult, and I began to pray for him. My mother, standing nearby, was suffering as she listened. At first, the catheter wouldn't go in; it was bad news. Suddenly, on the second attempt, it finally went in. The vet began to drain the accumulated urine with a syringe. He used eight large syringes full. That was a relief for my Bartolo, but we still had to wait five days with the catheter in to see if it became blocked again or if it had truly cleared.

Throughout all of this, the veterinarian was either going on vacation or there were holidays in between. It was the worst possible time for something to happen to him. We had the phone numbers of other veterinarians in case we needed them, but that already made me very nervous. When I got home, I had my baby in my room, waiting for the anesthesia to wear off. Little by little, he regained consciousness and started moving around. The first night, my dear mother stayed with me, lying down next to me, while my kitten settled between my legs amidst towels and plastic bags. I think I only slept two or three hours that first night, just from watching him. From then on, I had to make a plan for my family to take care of him until I woke up from a nap or slept for a few hours.

Bartolo podía hacer vida normal con la sonda, pero perdía líquido continuamente a medida que tomaba agua. Estaba la posibilidad de ponerle un pañal, pero no teníamos y era superincómodo para él, ya que no era un gato que haya nacido para estar quieto. Al igual que el collar ortopédico, por un rato estaba bien para descansar, pero no podíamos dejarlo todo el día y noche puesto. Por momentos se lo sacaba para que descansara y no se estresara tanto. Yo a su lado, mirándolo, observando que siempre gotee para estar tranquilo de que no se había tapado. Fueron 5 días donde estuve día y noche a su lado, mientras miraba series o anime en mi celular. En el patio, en la cocina, en la escalera, en mi habitación, en todos lados estaba mirándome como agradecido de que siempre estuviera con él.

En todo este proceso, comencé a priorizar otras cosas en mi vida. Ya empecé a ordenar prioridades y nuevas metas. Bartolo siempre venía a buscarme para sacarme de mi rutina de trabajo en la computadora. Muchas veces yo lo seguía y él solo quería que me sentara junto a él en el patio para acostarse sobre mí. Era su manera de desconectarme a mí de mi trabajo y que disfrutara el tiempo que estábamos juntos.

Llegó ese día martes que no llegaba más. Habíamos pasado la prueba de fuego. Había que esperar que el médico veterinario le diera el alta si todo estaba normal. Y así fue. Fue una alegría enorme cuando le sacó la sonda y nos dijo que el gato se encontraba bien. La alegría que tenía era increíble. Habíamos pasado una vez más una situación límite juntos y esta vez sí pude estar a su lado sin temor a tocarlo o verlo mal. Fue un avance tremendo porque me di cuenta de que sí podía estar y cuidarlo.

Bartolo could live a normal life with the feeding tube, but he leaked fluid continuously as he drank water. We could have put him in a diaper, but we didn't have one, and it would have been incredibly uncomfortable for him, since he wasn't a cat born to stay still. The same with the orthopedic collar; it was fine for a while so he could rest, but we couldn't leave it on all day and night. Sometimes we would take it off so he could rest and not get so stressed. I was by his side, watching him, making sure he was always dripping to reassure myself that it wasn't blocked. For five days, I was with him day and night, while I watched series or anime on my phone. In the yard, in the kitchen, on the stairs, in my room—everywhere he looked at me, grateful that I was always there for him.

Throughout this whole process, I started prioritizing other things in my life. I began to organize my priorities and set new goals. Bartolo always came looking for me to pull me out of my computer work routine. Many times I would follow him, and he just wanted me to sit next to him in the yard so he could lie on top of me. It was his way of helping me disconnect from work and enjoy the time we spent together.

That long-awaited Tuesday finally arrived. We had passed the ultimate test. We just had to wait for the vet to discharge him if everything was normal. And it was. It was a huge relief when he removed the feeding tube and told us the cat was doing well. I was incredibly happy. We had once again faced a critical situation together, and this time I could be by his side without fear of touching him or seeing him unwell. It was a tremendous step forward because I realized I could be there for him and take care of him.

Luego de esto, mi papá le compró una comida especial para gatos con problemas urinarios. Era también para Indio, que si bien él no tenía esto, era un gato grande de edad (14 años) y le podía hacer bien para evitar que en el futuro también le sucediera lo de Bartolo. Durante 5 días todo era alegría en la casa. Estábamos muy felices, pero...

...al 6to día notamos un decaimiento en él. Ya no comía como antes y comenzó a estornudar. Era otro maldito feriado en Argentina y no había veterinarias abiertas, y menos mi médico, que volvía de vacaciones el martes. Al día siguiente, un domingo, parecía que estaba todo normal. Al levantarme, veo que Bartolo está en la mesa de la cocina junto a mi mamá y mi hermana. Lo acaricié, le di muchos besos. Mi hermana aprovechó para sacarle pulguitas con un peine nuevo que consiguió mi hermano y, cuando voy al baño, escucho un grito que no es normal en Bartolo. Estaba acostado en la cama, respirando con dificultad y había hecho caca dura. Yo, desesperado, atiné a acariciarlo, levantarlo y calmarlo con mi voz. Mi hermana buscó urgente algún médico de guardia, ya que era domingo. Un maldito domingo donde nadie atiende y te cobran una fortuna por atender a nuestros hermosos animales. Una vez que se calmó, lo metimos a la transportadora, al auto y partimos a Pacheco, a una veterinaria de turno. Al llegar ahí encontramos tal vez 20 o 25 pacientes antes que nosotros. Lo anotamos y esperamos en la vereda. En ese trayecto notamos que Bartolo respiraba bien, se encontraba mirando con energía dentro de la transportadora y hasta nos acariciaba. Al verlo en ese estado, decidimos volver a casa porque lo veíamos normal.

After that, my dad bought him special food for cats with urinary problems. It was also for Indio, who, although he didn't have this problem, was an older cat (14 years old) and it could help him avoid the same issue as Bartolo in the future. For five days, everything was joyful in the house. We were very happy, but...

...on the sixth day, we noticed he was lethargic. He wasn't eating as much as before and started sneezing. It was another damn holiday in Argentina, and no vets were open, and my doctor was even less so, as he was returning from vacation on Tuesday. The next day, a Sunday, everything seemed normal. When I got up, I saw Bartolo on the kitchen table with my mom and sister. I petted him and gave him lots of kisses. My sister took the opportunity to pick off some fleas with a new comb my brother had gotten, and when I went to the bathroom, I heard a cry that wasn't normal for Bartolo. He was lying on the bed, breathing heavily, and had passed hard stool. Desperate, I managed to stroke him, pick him up, and soothe him with my voice. My sister urgently searched for an on-call veterinarian, since it was Sunday. A cursed Sunday when no one is available and they charge a fortune to treat our beautiful animals. Once he calmed down, we put him in his carrier, in the car, and headed to Pacheco, to a vet clinic on duty. When we arrived, there were maybe 20 or 25 patients ahead of us. We registered him and waited on the sidewalk. During that time, we noticed that Bartolo was breathing well, looking energetically inside the carrier, and even nuzzling us. Seeing him like that, we decided to go back home because he seemed fine.

Estuvo lo más bien acostado sobre un sillón que él amaba en el jardín. No se movía mucho y yo notaba que no se podía mantener de pie cuando quería ir al baño. En eso lo veo que se tira en el patio y vuelve a hacer lo mismo. Le falta el aire y comienza a llorar. Ahora que estoy recordándolo mientras les estoy contando, no puedo parar de llorar. Esos sonidos que jamás escuché de él me estaban matando por dentro. Eran típicos gritos de "Papaaaaaa, papaaaaaaaa". Urgente, lo metimos a la transportadora y nos dirigimos a un hospital veterinario que estaba abierto las 24 horas. Allí nuevamente, luego de esperar más de 1 hora, noté que Bartolo estaba bien nuevamente. Se le notaba en la mirada, en los ojos; no sé cómo explicarlo. Era como que no quería demostrar a los medicos que estaba mal. Al revisarlo y contarle toda la historia a la médica que lo atendió, no vio signos extraños y le dio unas inyecciones. Volvimos a casa. Bartolo en casa estaba tranquilo. Dormía. Respiraba con dificultad y a veces respiraba normal. Yo estaba destruido. No me había recuperado aún de todo lo que pasamos los días previos y ahora esto. Llegó ese domingo a la madrugada. Cerca de las 00 horas tuvo un nuevo episodio de falta de aire. Una vez que se calmó, junto a mí pudo dormir unas 3 horas más. Siempre bajo mi atenta mirada. A eso de las 3 de la mañana se tiró al suelo y comenzó a llorar mientras respiraba con dificultad. En ese momento yo sabía que se estaba despidiendo de mí. No podía parar de llorar. Mi hermana me dijo: "Vamos urgente, ya me cambio". Pero algo dentro de mí sabía que no sobreviviría. Me acompañaron mi hermano y hermana. Subimos al auto y ahí escuché su último llanto. En el camino, faltando solo 2 kilómetros para llegar al hospital, mi hermana comienza a decir que está nerviosa, y me pide que mire porque Bartolo no se movía. Llegamos y mis hermanos entraron corriendo al hospital. Lo atendieron 3 medicos y yo quedé afuera mirando detrás de las rejas porque tuve que estacionar el auto. Vi cómo intentaron hacerle primeros auxilios y respiración, pero a los 2 minutos mis hermanos me avisaban con señas que mi bebé había fallecido. Estuve 5 minutos sin parar afuera tirado en la vereda mientras mis hermanos intentaban consolarme. Maneje en estado de shock la vuelta a casa con el cuerpo de mi hermoso gato en el auto, tapado por una manta azul.

He was lying peacefully on his favorite armchair in the garden. He wasn't moving much, and I noticed he couldn't stand up when he needed to go to the bathroom. Then I saw him lie down in the yard and do the same thing again. He was short of breath and started crying. Now that I'm remembering it while I'm telling you this, I can't stop crying. Those sounds I'd never heard from him before were killing me inside. They were his typical cries of "Papaaaaaa, papaaaaaaaa." We rushed him into his carrier and headed to a 24-hour veterinary hospital. There again, after waiting for more than an hour, I noticed Bartolo was fine again. You could see it in his eyes; I don't know how to explain it. It was like he didn't want to show the doctors that he was sick. After examining him and telling the whole story to the vet, she didn't see anything unusual and gave him some injections. We went back home. Bartolo was calm at home. He was sleeping. He was breathing with difficulty, and sometimes he would breathe normally. I was devastated. I hadn't even recovered from everything we'd been through in the previous days, and now this. That Sunday morning arrived. Around midnight, he had another episode of shortness of breath. Once he calmed down, he was able to sleep for about three more hours next to me, always under my watchful eye. Around 3:00 a.m., he collapsed to the floor and began to cry while struggling to breathe. At that moment, I knew he was saying goodbye to me. I couldn't stop crying. My sister told me, "Let's go quickly, I'll get dressed right now." But something inside me knew he wouldn't survive. My brother and sister came with me. We got in the car, and that's when I heard his last cry. On the way, just two kilometers from the hospital, my sister started saying she was nervous and asked me to check on him because Bartolo wasn't moving. We arrived, and my siblings rushed into the hospital. Three doctors attended to him, and I stayed outside watching from behind the fence because I had to park the car. I saw them try to give him first aid and CPR, but after two minutes my brothers signaled to me that my baby had died. I lay outside on the sidewalk for five minutes straight while my brothers tried to comfort me. I drove home in shock with my beautiful cat's body in the car, covered by a blue blanket.

Se me pasaron tantas cosas por la cabeza. Tantas que no podía procesar todo lo que viví y pasó. Al llegar, mi mamá quedó desconsolada. Amaba a ese gato como toda mi familia. Bartolo no era un gato más, era alguien que se hacía querer por todos. Esa noche ya no iba a tener con quién discutir, a quién tener en mi falda, a quién tener en mi brazo mientras miraba una serie. Fue la primera noche en años que no estaba junto a mis ojos azules.

Esa noche había sucedido algo increíble. Indio, el hermano del alma de Bartolo, gato de mi familia, decidió acostarse a mi lado. Cuando yo estaba mirando a Bartolo y cuidándolo en sus últimas horas, Indio decidió acostarse justo a mi lado en mi cama. Para que sepan, Indio NUNCA me quiso. Siempre fui rechazado por él a pesar de que yo siempre lo quise. Cuando intentaba acariciarlo, me arañaba o mordía fuerte. En ese momento que más necesitaba apoyo, apareció él. Los animales son increíbles.

7 días después de la muerte de Bartolo, Indio, que venía con un tratamiento por una infección en tu pata derecha trasera, comenzó a descomponerse. Empezó a retener líquidos y aumentar de peso. Ya no caminaba, solo estaba acostado y comía cada vez menos. Lo llevamos al hospital veterinario donde una semana atrás habían atendido a Bartolo. No había buenas noticias. Tenía problemas de sangre, obesidad y otras cosas que ahora no recuerdo. Se podría decir que había que hacerle una transfusión de sangre y el tratamiento era muy costoso. Era impagable. Mi hermana, cuando me dijo lo que salía, temblaba. Sus manos estaban nerviosas y yo con tristeza tuve que decirle que no podíamos pagarlo. Ya había gastado mucho dinero con Bartolo y me quedaba algo por si pasaba algo a la familia o mis padres, que son ambos grandes de edad.

Al retirarnos, tuve una charla adulta con mis dos hermanos explicándoles que, aun cuando pagáramos el tratamiento, el mismo médico no nos dio certezas de que se recuperaría. Al ser un gato con tantos problemas y ser mayor, las chances de recuperación eran pocas, pero había esperanza. Simplemente deseamos que Indio no sufriera y que viviera lo que pueda.

So many things went through my head. So many that I couldn't process everything I'd experienced and that had happened. When I got home, my mom was heartbroken. She loved that cat as much as my whole family did. Bartolo wasn't just any cat; he was someone everyone loved. That night, I wouldn't have anyone to argue with, anyone to hold on my lap, anyone to cuddle with while watching a show. It was the first night in years that he wasn't next to my blue eyes.

That night, something incredible happened. Indio, Bartolo's soul brother, my family cat, decided to lie down next to me. While I was watching over Bartolo and caring for him in his final hours, Indio decided to lie down right next to me on my bed. Just so you know, Indio NEVER liked me. He always rejected me, even though I always loved him. When I tried to pet him, he would scratch or bite me hard. At the moment I needed support the most, he appeared. Animals are amazing.

Seven days after Bartolo died, Indio, who was being treated for an infection in his right hind leg, began to deteriorate. He started retaining fluids and gaining weight. He could no longer walk; he just lay down and ate less and less. We took him to the veterinary hospital where Bartolo had been treated a week earlier. The news wasn't good. He had blood problems, obesity, and other issues I can't recall now. It seemed he needed a blood transfusion, and the treatment was very expensive. It was unaffordable. When my sister told me the price, she was trembling. Her hands were nervous, and I sadly had to tell her we couldn't afford it. I had already spent a lot of money on Bartolo, and I was saving some in case something happened to the family or my parents, who are both elderly.

As we left, I had a grown-up talk with my two brothers, explaining that even if we paid for the treatment, the vet couldn't guarantee he would recover. Given his numerous health problems and advanced age, his chances of recovery were slim, but there was hope. We simply wished that Indio wouldn't suffer and that he would live as long as possible.

En las siguientes noches, mientras mi mamá, mi hermana y yo mirábamos series o películas en mi habitación, Indio siempre quería entrar y acostarse en mi cama. Nuevamente por las noches, él elegía mi cama como su lugar favorito. Todo esto no hacía más que revolver todo lo que pasó con Bartolo. Cuando iba al baño, pasaba y lo besaba muchísimo. Lloré mucho por él. Porque, a pesar de que en toda su vida no me quiso, en sus últimos días se transformó en mi compañero y me eligió a mí para que lo cuidara. Tal vez vio lo que hice con Bartolo y eso hizo cambiar algo en él. No lo sé. No comprendo qué pasó por él para que de golpe me aceptara y sea tan dulce conmigo, y que quisiera dormir junto a mí.

El dia 14 de diciembre, 2 semanas después de la muerte de Bartolo, mientras mi hermana estaba peinándolo en el piso de la habitación de mi hermana, pegó un grito fuerte y dejó de respirar. Me acerqué y noté que ya no tenía pulso. Mi hermano intentó hacer una reanimación, pero no hubo caso. Había fallecido el gordo de la familia. Nos dejó para ir a juntarse con su hermano del alma. Hoy están los dos arriba seguramente, jugando o peleando como lo hacían todas las noches antes de acostarse juntos y besarse.

Este fue el motivo principal por el que dejé de compartir aquí en Hive. Estuve despedazado y tratando de analizar todo lo que pasó. Me han ofrecido otros gatitos, pero estamos muy dolidos para adoptar en este momento. Estamos en duelo. Entendí que traeré seguramente nuevas vidas a mi casa porque siempre queremos tener gatos. Amamos a los animales y somos muy gateros. Pero cuando la situación esté acorde. Quiero estar bien de dinero para brindarles la atención médica que se merecen. Quiero hacer chequeos anuales. Quiero estar más pendiente de sus actitudes extrañas y ser más rápido en cuanto a ir al veterinario para que le hagan un chequeo. Quiero encontrar un centro veterinario que sea serio y no comerciante. Solo un lugar en toda mi vida me devolvió los animales sanos y salvos cada vez que los llevé. Volveré y seré siempre su cliente porque no confío más en ningún otro. Hay tantos veterinarios que parecen solo interesados en cobrar. Ojo, no tengo rencor con los médicos; sé que hay muy buenos, y que no todos son así. Pero se podrían haber hecho más estudios, se podría haber prevenido que sufrieran estas consecuencias de que fueron tratados tarde de sus dolencias. Si lo hubiéramos agarrado con tiempo, hoy estarían los dos con vida. Me hago cargo de mi parte y voy a ser mejor para cuando vengan a mi vida los nuevos gatitos.

On the following nights, while my mom, my sister, and I watched TV shows or movies in my room, Indio always wanted to come in and lie down on my bed. Again, at night, he chose my bed as his favorite place. All of this only brought back memories of what had happened with Bartolo. When I went to the bathroom, I would stop by and kiss him a lot. I cried a lot for him. Because, even though he hadn't loved me his whole life, in his last days he became my companion and chose me to take care of him. Maybe he saw what I did for Bartolo and that changed something in him. I don't know. I don't understand what happened to him that made him suddenly accept me and be so sweet to me, and want to sleep next to me.

On December 14th, two weeks after Bartolo's death, while my sister was combing his hair on the floor of her room, he let out a loud scream and stopped breathing. I went over and noticed he no longer had a pulse. My brother tried to resuscitate him, but it was no use. The family's big boy had passed away. He left us to join his best friend. Today they're both up there, surely, playing or fighting like they did every night before going to bed together and kissing.

This was the main reason I stopped posting here on Hive. I was devastated and trying to process everything that happened. I've been offered other kittens, but we're too heartbroken to adopt right now. We're grieving. I understand that I'll definitely bring new lives into my home because we always want cats. We love animals and are huge cat lovers. But when the situation is right. I want to be financially stable enough to give them the medical care they deserve. I want to get annual checkups. I want to be more attentive to any unusual behavior and be quicker about taking them to the vet for a checkup. I want to find a reputable veterinary clinic, not a profiteer. Only one place in my entire life has returned my animals safe and sound every time I've taken them. I'll be back and I'll always be their client because I don't trust any other vet. There are so many veterinarians who seem only interested in getting paid. Mind you, I don't hold a grudge against doctors; I know there are some very good ones, and that not all of them are like that. But more tests could have been done, these consequences of their late treatment could have been prevented. If we had caught it sooner, they would both be alive today. I'm taking responsibility for my part and I'm going to be better when new kittens come into my life.

Gracias, Bartolo, por todo. Gracias por acompañarme en esta etapa de mi vida. Nunca amé tanto a un gato como a vos. Eras más que solo un gato. Eras mi guardián. Eras mi protector. Eras quien me hacía enojar todas las noches hasta que te calmaras y te agarrara sueño. Falleciste en el lugar que más amabas, el auto. Ahí fue la primera vez que te vi, cuando abrí la caja de cartón y saliste para decirme "HOLA". Allí decidiste irte al cielo, viajando en el auto que tanta paz y alegría te daba.

Gracias, Indio, por querer tanto a Bartolo y por darme ese amor que necesitaba en tus últimos días de vida. Demostraste ser un gato amoroso para mi mamá y mi hermana. Amabas a mi hermano. Querías un montón a mi papá, que todas las mañanas a las 3 te daba agua y algo de comer. Chocabas cabeza con mi perro rottweiler y él te lo devolvía dándote besos todas las mañanas. Fuiste increíble. Espero que seas feliz junto a mi Barto en donde estés.

Thank you, Bartolo, for everything. Thank you for being with me during this stage of my life. I never loved a cat as much as I loved you. You were more than just a cat. You were my guardian. You were my protector. You were the one who made me angry every night until you calmed down and fell asleep. You passed away in the place you loved most, the car. That's where I first saw you, when I opened the cardboard box and you came out to say "HELLO." That's where you decided to go to heaven, traveling in the car that brought you so much peace and joy.

Thank you, Indio, for loving Bartolo so much and for giving me the love I needed in your last days. You proved to be a loving cat to my mom and my sister. You loved my brother. You loved my dad a lot; every morning at 3 a.m. he gave you water and something to eat. You would butt heads with my Rottweiler, and he would return the favor with kisses every morning. You were incredible. I hope you are happy with my Barto wherever you are.

Y a ustedes, hermosa comunidad, GRACIAS POR SER PARTE DE ESTE VIAJE POR HIVE. Me llevo hermosos recuerdos de tantos posts lindos y con tantos detalles y vivencias. Cierro una etapa en donde siempre el protagonista fue mi gato Bartolo. Él era el famoso de todas las redes en donde abría una cuenta. Ahora que ya no está él, no tiene sentido estar aquí si no puedo transmitirles la misma alegría que tenía cuando él estaba vivo.

Será un adiós o tal vez un hasta luego, no lo sé. Todo dependerá de cómo sean las nuevas vidas que llegarán en algún momento de mi vida. Espero que esta red todavía esté porque les juro que amaría compartirles los nombres y cómo son ellos dos.

I'm closing a chapter where my cat Bartolo was always the star. He was the most famous on every social media platform where I created an account. Now that he's gone, there's no point in being here if I can't share the same joy I felt when he was alive.

Will this be a goodbye, or perhaps a see you later? I don't know. It will all depend on the new lives that will come into my life someday. I hope this network is still around because I swear I would love to share their names and what they're like.
