Art—As It Is

You’re probably tired of my posts about Axies, so today’s post will be about something different—something spiritual: art.
I believe that each of us is, in some way, connected to something great and inspiring. Some people can paint beautifully, others are gifted with the ability to sing from childhood, and some are talented and recognized in literary circles.
Recently, we visited the local art museum in Chișinău and were amazed at how diverse paintings, panels, and artistic visions can be among different artists.
Take this painting, for example. To me, it contains a mix of bright and dull colors… But why? What’s the purpose? Can this really be considered art? Honestly, it looks more like a child’s drawing at a psychologist’s office.
And this one—what is this? They just stuck a bowl onto the canvas and smeared some dark paint around it.
However, some pieces truly deserve attention. Their creators seemingly wanted to convey deep meaning through their craft.
You can see details, outlines of trees, and what seems to be a city abandoned or destroyed by humans. Emptiness and loneliness, decay and ignorance, pain and suffering.
Or take this painting, for example. To me, it represents our hypocrisy when interacting with others—especially with the people we personally choose to engage with.
Or maybe I’m just a fool who knows nothing about art, rambling on in my naive, youthful inexperience.
Who knows? Who knows?
A little later, I’ll share the artworks that truly captivated me—pieces that made me freeze in place and reflect deeply.
Thank you all for joining me on this part of the exhibition tour! Wishing you more smiles and inspiration.
