STEEM Competitor VOICE Planned For Beta Release on February 14th, 2020

They started their bog with the title Road to Beta after six months of announcement. @dan has been planning for a STEEM 2.0 for a long time. I don't think we have a reason to be afraid. But I do think we have to be extremely vigilant. When Voice get released only SMTs will be able to save STEEM and I want to see maximum attention developed towards that. 

Yes, the games like @steemmonsters and @nextcolony have a lot of potential too. But that is only going to bring in gamers whereas the market for social media/social networking is several times larger. If STEEM doesn't work hard we will be much like the rabbit that lost the race to the tortoise. We are still ahead the game. Take a look at these statistics from @penguinpablo

We Are Also Seeing Massive Power Downs

Don't sleep on the wheel while we are ahead the game. The bear market is surely a factor for reduced growth. But it also meas that we haven't done anything impressive enough to go against the current. @steemmonsters having the cards in circulation increasing their marketcap by four times is a notable plus point. But I don't think that will be sufficient.
