To the Angels I Never Got to Thank Enough

Angels lived and dwelt amongst us; they're God-sent, the seasonings and flavor sent to beautify this sour, plagued world of ours. Although there's usually caution being raised regarding how we should interact with strangers, and I know they're for the good. But above that, I've been privileged to come in contact with some strangers who literally changed the narrative and ideology I have about strangers; some even inspired me to be a better person, and I can't help but thank my star for making our paths cross and having them impact my life positively. So to pay tribute to those angels, below I'll be talking about them briefly.

When talking about angels in human clothing, I can't write a story without first giving credit to the very first one I came in contact with, and that's a lady I refer to as the lady with a heart of gold. I met this angel when I first gained admission into the university, but for some reason I found it difficult to secure a hostel to stay in and had already planned on sleeping on the floor outside the school gate.
But surprisingly, this angel, Aunty Kemi, came into the picture and took me to her place to sleep. Despite the fact that she doesn't know me from anywhere, disregarding the fact that I'm of the opposite sex, she went on to give me accommodation for the next two years. I call her an angel because after she graduated from the university, I haven't been able to reach her, making it seem more obvious that she isn't an angel sent to help me.

Another angel in human clothing I've been privileged to not only meet them but also benefit from their positive impact on my life during a different phase of my life. Unlike the first encounter I had with Aunty Kemi, whom I refer to as an angel, this one literally saved my life from one of the most notorious terrorists in my country, talking of the Boko Haram terrorist group. I've once written about that encounter, so I'll only briefly talk about it here. So that very day I was on a mission to explore the desert, sand dunes, and oasis located in the Yusufari LGA of Yobe State, and unfortunately for me, our vehicle was stopped by the terrorist group, who planned on kidnapping every stranger treading on that path.
Luckily for me, one of the passengers in our bus stood up for me when interrogated, telling them I'm his cousin who stays in Lagos. That was how they let us go, and I was miraculously saved from that imminent death, because I literally watched them kill some people. This individual who helped me is one who I see as an angel in human clothing, because had he not stepped in, I'd most likely not be alive today. Although I did reach out to him after that very day, it's not been the same again, because his number is no longer reachable, and I can't help but feel like he's an angel sent to help me at that point in time.
