V česku se na sever od Prahy nachází hora, která je navždy spojena s legendou o Praotci Čechu , který dovedl svůj lid k hoře zvané Říp a po vystoupení na její vrchol, řekl, že zde bude Česká země.

Mount Říp is located approximately 50 km from Prague and is a hill that cannot be overlooked. That's because all the surrounding countryside is flat and suddenly this striking hill, which measures 461 meters above sea level, appears in front of you.

Hora Říp se nachází přibližně 50 km od Prahy a je to kopec, který nelze přehlédnout. Je to proto, že veškerá okolní krajina je rovinatá a náhle se před vámi objeví tento výrazný kopec, který měří 461 metrů nad mořem.

On Mount Říp there are views to all sides of the world. The place is suitable for lovers of sunrise, but also for lovers of sunset. I chose this place for the sunset and checked it off my bucket list after 25 long years. Yes, I am ashamed of myself for climbing Mount Říp so late and becoming a true Czech in February.

Na hoře Říp se nachází vyhlídky na všechny světové strany. Místo se tak hodí pro milovníky východu slunce, ale i pro milovníky západu slunce. Já si tohle místo vybral pro západ slunce a odškrtnul tak z bucket listu po dlouhých 25 letech. Ano, stydím se za to, že jsem vystoupal na horu Říp až tak pozdě a stal se pravým čechem až teď v únoru.

There is also a nice chapel on the top, but it is closed and opens only on certain days of the year. If you follow the red and green trail, you will gradually pass all the famous viewpoints. There is nowhere to get lost on this hill. Parking is located in the village "Krabčice - Rovné" and there is a small fee.

Na vrcholu se nachází i pěkná kaplička, která je ale zavřená a otvírá se jen určité dny v roce. Pokud se vydáte po červené a zelené značce, tak postupně projdete všechny známé výhlídky. Na tomto kopečku se nemáte, kde ztratit. Parkování se nachází ve vesničce "Krabčice - Rovné" a je zde malý poplatek.
