Which is a higher level of happiness, buying things such as luxury watches, luxury cars, and luxury brand clothing, or buying experiences such as vacations and concerts? This is the question that has been the subject of some research.

According to the study "To do or to have? That is the Question," which compared material and experiential well-being, buying experiences was associated with higher levels of well-being than buying things.

Indeed, the experience of traveling domestically and internationally and experiencing landscapes and cultures that I have never seen before will remain in my mind as precious memories for the rest of my life. Although I had some bittersweet experiences during my time in the world trip, I feel that I have gained a level of experience in my life that I have never had before.

Objects may weather and deteriorate over time or become out of fashion, but experiences will always remain in your mind and in your heart as they were then.

There was a time when I was particular about buying luxury brand suits, my favorite sneakers, Italian furniture, and the latest home appliances, but none of these things remain now. However, when I look back on my past, I feel happier in my present life, which has nothing, than in my former materially fulfilled life, probably because I am buying experiences rather than things.

This is the end of this article.
Thank you for reading to the end. ^^
