My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 225 - Raindrop Reflections - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Big Island, Hawai'i - Saturday, June 28, 2025

For my very-late entry Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 225, I'd like to share a lovely handful of photos that I took yesterday afternoon, in between rain showers, of the glistening drops of rain water on the surface of the leaves of some giant taro. I take photos of these taro quite often, especially when they have drops of water scattered across their large leaves, and when I saw them yesterday, I thought that they'd make some very nice reflection shots, so here they are!

The surface of giant taro leaves is semi-water-repelent, so very often the drops of water that fall them don't spread out, but rather stay in discrete drops, which only makes them more interesting, and quite beautiful. I hope that y'all appreciate them as much as I did when I took them! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
