Party Cannon are no strangers to releasing albums on retro gaming platforms. Their latest album, Subjected to Partying, is being released on the Nintendo 64, on an actual cartridge. Why, you might be asking? It is not exclusive to the N64, that is a marketing play to get eyes on their music, also releasing on LP and CD, as well as streaming, I am sure, Subjected to Partying is the first album with their new vocalist. So why not drop in with something unique?

New Vocalist, New Platform

Party Cannon are celebrating adding a new vocalist to the band, Daryl “The Frogman” Boyce. This is also the band’s first release on the Nintendo 64 featuring some unique content for fans to enjoy.

First, the N64 version of Subjected to Partying is limited to 100 copies. This is like how independent homebrew is released for other platforms such as the Atari 2600. 100 units seems to be the magic number.

There are also plans for a vinyl and CD release that feature additional songs over the N64 release.

What Is In The Box

Fans grabbing the Nintendo 64 cartridge release will get a few feelies for their money beyond the cartridge.

an exclusive resin figure of Vominc Stonebones, the cartridge, box, and exclusive band bios and photos.

On the cartridge fans can expect a remix of the music video for Human Slime from the Obscene Extreme 2025 event as well as four songs. Video/image content is presented in 320x240 resolution with 44100 Hz stereo audio in the PAL format.

Time Extension went on to mention a couple of other retro releases from Party Cannon including a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive release and even a music video inspired by Street Fighter II for the song I Believe in Dani Filth.
