Do the 10 commandments still exist

I am writing this in response to the question above. Yes the 10 commandments still exist and is valid till now. When Jesus Christ the son of God came. He said, he didn't come "to destroy the law of the prophets". What we call the old testament today check the book of Mathew 5:17-19 17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
He didn't annul the commandments . rather he taught their deeper and spiritual application . He summerized the 10 commandments and the whole bible this way. "You shall love the lord your God with all your mind" this is the first and greatest commandments. And the second is like it. " You shall love your neighbor as yourself". On these two commandments hang all the law. Mathew 22:37-40. 37 Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
Jesus showed us the spiritual intent of 10 commandments. The first four shows how to love God the way he wants to be loved. While, the last six shows how to love our neighbors. For comments or more visit the link below
