2024 SILVER SHOE 1/400 oz .999 Silver Note (OzNote)

My first silver note!

Although I had my eyes on a few silver or gold notes before, I never pulled the trigger as they are either hard to get here in Europe OR way too overpriced. I mostly looked at Goldbacks but so far, there's none in my collection. And then I saw a post from @summertooth where he shared his purchase of the 2024 Silver Shoe (OzNote) and I knew I had to get one!

Not only is it a cool note just because it contains silver, it's a little piece of art anyway. The note contains 1/400th oz of Silver but that's not really the reason I wanted one. I can appreciate a bit of art, no matter in what form it comes. I was lucky that @summertooth was willing to sell me one and it arrived in a birthday card. Great, I got myself an extra birth silver day!

Let's have a better look

It was a bit hard capturing this note because of the plastic layer it was very reflective and hard to capture the true beauty. I decided that trying to capture it on the white (but old) table on the balcony with the most natural light was the best option I had..

That was much better than inside lol, at least I could capture the whole note without much reflection.. Look at all the details of the things going on there! There's so much.. What's your favourite part?

I don't know about you but as a child I watched the Wizard of Ozz and it was not until my adulthood that I found out that there's a lot of symbolism in this story and it's not all rainbows and sunshine. This comes from the Ozzbullion site:

A 20k mintage, I have no clue if that's big or small for the typical precious metals note but I'm happy to have one in my collection! Thanks again Summertooth <3
