Special (Uncovered)

Special was the very first song that Eden Michelle and myself ever did together. Eden wrote it with the intention of having me sing it as she felt the bluesy burlesque chords and lyrics suited my vocals.

She recorded me in her kitchen in Wimbledon and that is still the same recording we used on the actual EP because we both loved the authenticity of it. We tried going into a fancy recording studio in London to use a better mic/equipment but still preferred our rendition over the others, so we kept it!

I still perform and it will always remain 'special' because of its history.
