Library Steps Afterglow

I am back into the library steps prompt for the Downtown Afterglow challenge. Wanted to capture that quiet, grand feeling of a library entrance, so I focused on this large arched door and the wide steps leading up to it. The steps where people love to chill
Used a soft tan for the building and a darker gray for the stairs to build that sense of structure. I love how the bold green of the door stands out with that clean white frame it really draws the eye right to the center. Added a simple street lamp silhouette on the left to lean into that afterglow downtown vibe. It definitely stays true to my love for clean lines and flat, simple color blocks that keep the composition feeling sharp and organized. This one was all about balancing the big shapes of the architecture with just enough urban detail to tell the story.
What’s your favorite thing to do at the library besides checking out books?
