Splinterlands: Frontier Mode Jackpot Cards Are Almost Here!

Frontier Mode in Splinterlands has really reignited my interest in playing the game once again. I began my Splinterlands journey back before the Chaos legion came into existence, back when Untamed cards ruled. But over the last few set releases I started to play less and less until I was only playing brawls with my guild THGamingbrawlers. That all changed recently when I decided to give the Foundation cards a chance.

I found that the very limited number of cards available really made the game more exciting and difficult. Unlike Modern or Wild with so many cards to play, Foundations has only 55 cards in the deck. That is about to change, and it's exciting because there will be four more cards available coming January 13th after the system update. The Jackpot Cards are arriving and it couldn't be more exiting.

Recently I managed to max out my Foundation cards, I was selling off all of my gold cards to upgrade my summers. Then I did bring in some DEC to upgrade a few others, but it was worth it. It leaves me in a great position to try and win some of the new cards. The Jackpot Cards will only be available through daily rewards as you win matches in your Frontier gameplay. They will randomly come in the rewards you receive after winning one of your three daily rewards.

They will appear as the card circled in blue, and I can't wait to get my first!

Here are the new cards, one common, one rare, one epic, and one legendary. All will come in regular foil, gold foil, black foil, arcane gold foil, and black arcane foil. First up we have the common water card Aimee Whisperwind. With opportunity to start out she well be a welcome card to the water deck.

Then the new rare death card Necrulencian Thief. With sneak an lower levels and poison at higher levels this should be a very cool card!

And for the new life epic card we have White Chickadee. At first glance this doesn't look all that impressive until you look at higher levels. At level three it has tank heal which is a very welcome ability in the Frontier card arena. So far it has been absent up until now. Being an epic card it will be hard to find and expensive on the secondary market!

And the new fire legendary card Eris Bimblenok. This card looks awesome, it is a high mana beast with two magic damage to start and three magic damage at higher levels. This well not be a cheap card to buy, and pulling one will be very difficult. But I am crossing my fingers! The black arcane will only have one copy minted, whoever gets that card is one lucky son of a gun!

Here are the total numbers minted, so they are very limited and won't be around forever. So best play and hope to get lucky!

Each time you claim a daily challenge reward there will be a 1.5% chance of getting a Jackpot Card. Odd will be long, but it will be fun to try and find one of these. I will be playing every day to try and pick up a few of these beauties! Best of all, it's free to play Frontier Mode after you complete the tutorial under Campaign and even are given free cards to play with.

So I wish the best of luck to everyone, and let's all hope to win some Jackpots! Please feel free to leave any comments or questions below, and have a great Sunday everyone!
