Cracking X Episode 12 The BREAKTHROUGH

Hello Hello Hivians Lions and Xters!

It is Thursday and that means that it is time for one of my designated 𝕏 reports.

𝕏 as in what was formerly known as Twitter.

 

 

Web2 they aren't your accounts, when will people learn!

It seems each week I have been telling you about someone that has been banned or lost their web2 account.

We have had X bans, YouTube strikes, and an instagram ban, and even a TikTok ban!

Yesterday I saw X are up to their labelling tricks again.
 

16 million users have been labelled!!!

Watch if you get one, that is a slippery slope to actually losing your account.

You would have perhaps guessed by the title that this post is about X (formerly Twitter).

This is the twelfth episode that I have been showing my stats. I shall be reporting my findings and progress.

My goals for X are twofold:

• 1 Become monetized
• 2 Spread the Hive word and onboard users

So I have been slowly removing users I have been following that either don't engage or we are not aligned. It is getting a bit more aggresive now. I have my the list open in a tab and going hrough them one by one. I found at the end of my list, users I was following from ten years ago who don't don't post for years!

My followers count increased by 25, actually it was more, because X are still suspending accounts left right and centre, and those get removed from your following.

To become monetized you need to do these 3 things:

 
✔️ Subscribe to Premium or Verified Organizations

❌ Have at least 5M impressions on your posts within the last 3 months

✔️ 500 followers

I hit ONE MILLION impressions for 7 days!

My impressions are up, definitely because I watched a couple of footy matches and made comments!

Also I commented on a couple of tweets from Joey Barton who has sparked a debate in the UK on women football commenters commenting on mens football.

Actually it has been fun meeting more Hivians on web2 and then building connections with them on Hive!

I have been more quite active with the Cosmos community and Fore, UMA and Across protocols communities. They are some of the targets to come and join us on Hive.

Did you know that there are over 30 ways your account can be limited?

I have fallen foul of one of them, although I am not sure of which. Once you get shadow banned it is so hard to remove it.

So I have 3.6 million (last week was 3.3 million) impressions for the last three months. Oh fluff me, I am well short lol

I am actually chuffed with this week.

The Breakthrough

You can see last week I had 500k in impressions, which had been a jump from I was doing. This week saw 1 fluffing million impressions.

So the purple patch I had 14 weeks ago when I started my blue badge journey have rolled off my totals. So the fact I have gone up 300k is awesome.

However, slowly I seem to be getting some of My reach back, some of my impressions from my comments are hitting the big numbers again.
 

With January being football transfer month, there is gossip galore and I will comment like a madman and see if I can hit that 5 millions impressions by the end of the month, so I can really focus on spreading the Hive gospel!

I have had my account limited in someway, I don't know how or what but NO Surrender ....

I am determined to persevere...

I have been saying that for the last few weeks, but it seems my persistence or is that stubbornness is paying off!

I had a purple patch where I could comment and get thousands of impressions, it seems that I have got that back to some degree.

So perhaps my shadow ban has been lifted ...

The football transfer month of January will help me hit my goal!

Some of the Spaces had led to connections. Getting them to Hive however is not always easy!

In the meantime I shall be aiming to follow some X strategies we have devised with some other members of INLEO. Can people work as a team? We shall find out!
