burning forty minutes

i’m early.
a make a habit of being early.
it’s a good feeling to be early and it fits my agenda. i had a few things i needed to do this morning anyway to prepare things, i had put things in plastic containers and i needed to swap those things out. I’d taken my walk, jumped straight into it, filled the water bottle and away i went.
took a leisurely drive, really mild pace because the morning was so wonderful and we really need to invest in the days when the weather is good - as much as i love watching the rain on the windows like the next person you just can’t beat a morning of sunshine, it’s gonna be a stunning day today.
it’s poppet day today as well, i get to hang time with my mini me for a little while which is freaking awesome, feels like forever since the queens jubilee and we need so face to face hang time together — maybe it’s a fish and chips kinda day eh? i think so!
kinda wild that we are already ten days into june. that was a major blip right, ten days blasted past just like that, to be fair i had a few health things i needed to take care of and be aware of and get a bit more data on but i feel in a much better place about it now.

i’m not sure why i called it burning forty minutes, sure i could be using this time for something else but i’d only drive to the place for breakfast and have my morning routine anyway which would involve writing — i guess it’s a little bit like we burn some of the crypto, value go up please!
sacrifice a little bit of the time window of today so that we can get to the hours that contribute more to the overall goal of your day (or life) i know that this week has had a lot of data points in it if i go macro on it — i learned a bunch of new stuff, cross referenced a bunch of stuff and go back into my technology a little more again.
i still see abundance and opportunity ahead which is always a good sign.
don’t get me wrong i think we will need a far amount of zigging while everyone is zagging but i believe it’s just part of the course. the journey as they say. the truth knowledge is in the adaptation of the way you progress forward, mud up to your knees and a slow pace or clearing the brush and finding the trail again.
dayle hooked me up with this awesome new like billet metal drinking thing that actually fucking rocks, you can put your cold or hot stuff in there and it maintains the temps for ages OR you can use it as a shaker and it blends up the stuff you put in with no moving parts purely based on the shape.
i tried it with raspberries and a banana yesterday and it’s fucking rad — something to do with it being capsule shaped and it’s like an instant pot in terms of the quality of the metal finish. it’s dead easy to clean and just a little bit of elbow grease and you can blend stuff up with no electricity needed — of course it’s a little lumpy here and there but no biggy :)
it’s getting to that time where i really need to consider spending money to get some diy tools finally as i’ve got loads of little jobs i could be doing — from shelving to the fridge area, bed area being raised up, just loads of little micro tasks and the weather is perfect for it. I’ve got everything i need to make it a success transport wise too if i need to “get” more wood or building materials.
apple released the m2 laptop this week, sick looking piece of hardware that looks, the price is crazy thou, nearly two grand so i’ll be waiting for a good three months i expect until we start really looking into that — nothing like a fresh machine, fresh os, different user accounts, new hardware smell and maybe this time around a big phat firewall in front of it all.
I know i’m pumped to switch to 5g, i’ve been looking at a few devices and there are some great ones on the market but they are EXPENSIVE — it’s like we are paying for the r&d on this shit or contributing to the fucking 5g licensing in some way. I wanna wait for a crash but i’ve already been waiting six months and it’s not happening! (that being said GPUS are finally coming down)
ok, onwards into the day. ..
humble x
