Happy day, everyone! I sincerely hope you are having a fabulous day, full of good energy and productivity. Today I want to share with you how my day went yesterday, which was quite eventful, but also very satisfying.
Early on, we learned that we had to respond to an urgent call at the Sunsol Isla Caribe Hotel. We were informed that the filter on tank number three was malfunctioning, and as always, we didn't hesitate to go immediately to check on the situation. We got up very early, without knowing for sure how big the problem was, but ready to do whatever it took to fix it.
Before heading to the hotel, we had to stop in town to pick up Luis. He is a key player in this type of work, since due to the heavy nature of the job, it is usually done by him and my husband. On this occasion, my role was more one of accompaniment and supervision; observing, guiding, and making sure that everything was done with the utmost care.

¡Feliz día para todos! Espero de corazón que estén teniendo una jornada fabulosa, llena de buenas energías y productividad. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes cómo transcurrió mi día de ayer, que estuvo bastante movido, pero también muy satisfactorio.
Desde temprano supimos que debíamos atender un llamado urgente en el Hotel Sunsol Isla Caribe. Nos informaron que el filtro del tanque número tres presentaba una falla, y como siempre, no dudamos en acudir de inmediato para revisar la situación. Nos levantamos bien temprano, sin saber con certeza cuál era la magnitud del problema, pero con la disposición de resolver lo que hiciera falta.
Antes de dirigirnos al hotel, tuvimos que pasar por la ciudad para recoger a Luis. Él es una pieza clave en este tipo de trabajos, ya que por la naturaleza pesada de la labor, usualmente la realizan entre él y mi esposo. En esta ocasión, mi rol fue más de acompañamiento y supervisión; observar, orientar y asegurarme de que todo se hiciera con el mayor cuidado posible.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with great kindness, as always. They quickly guided us to the area where the filter in question was located, which, they told us, was not functioning properly. As soon as I saw it, I noticed that it had been tampered with incorrectly, causing damage to one of its internal parts. It's amazing how one bad intervention can lead to a bigger problem.

Al llegar al hotel, fuimos recibidos con mucha amabilidad, como siempre. Nos guiaron rápidamente hasta el área donde se encontraba el filtro en cuestión, el cual, según nos dijeron, no estaba cumpliendo correctamente su función. Apenas lo vi, noté que había sido manipulado de forma incorrecta, lo que había provocado el daño de una de sus piezas internas. Es increíble cómo una mala intervención puede generar un problema mayor.

Fortunately, we already have experience in these types of situations. Whenever we get a call about a filter issue, we prepare the truck with spare parts and tools, even if we're not sure exactly what will be needed. That foresight allowed us to act quickly and efficiently.

Afortunadamente, ya tenemos experiencia en este tipo de situaciones. Siempre que nos llaman por un tema relacionado con filtros, preparamos la camioneta con repuestos y herramientas, incluso si no estamos seguros de qué exactamente se necesitará. Esa previsión nos permitió actuar con rapidez y eficiencia.

To carry out the repair, it was necessary to remove all the filter media. Once dismantled, we replaced the damaged parts and, when reassembling it, we installed new, high-quality media. Although this makes the process a little more expensive, it guarantees a long-lasting and reliable result. We always prefer to do a job well, even if it involves a little more effort or investment.

Para realizar la reparación, fue necesario retirar toda la carga del filtro. Una vez desmontado, procedimos a reemplazar las piezas dañadas y, al volver a armarlo, colocamos cargas nuevas y de buena calidad. Esto, aunque encarece un poco el proceso, garantiza un resultado duradero y confiable. Preferimos siempre hacer un trabajo bien hecho, aunque implique un poco más de esfuerzo o inversión.

After reassembling everything, we performed several backwashes until the water began to run completely clear. That is always our sign that the system is working properly. As usual, the job was flawless, and that fills me with satisfaction. Knowing that we were able to solve the problem and leave everything in optimal condition is a great reward.

Después de ensamblar todo nuevamente, realizamos varios retrolavados hasta que el agua comenzó a salir completamente cristalina. Esa es siempre nuestra señal de que el sistema está funcionando correctamente. Como de costumbre, el trabajo quedó impecable, y eso me llena de satisfacción. Saber que pudimos resolver el problema y dejar todo en óptimas condiciones es una gran recompensa.

Once the work was finished, we took Luis back to the city. It was late and we were quite exhausted, but we still decided to stop by Multipiscina with the intention of buying a reagent to measure chlorine. Unfortunately, they had already closed, so that task was left pending for the next day.
In short, it was a long, demanding, and physically challenging day, but with excellent results. Every day like this reminds us of the importance of commitment, preparation, and teamwork. I am grateful to be able to share these experiences with you, because each one teaches us something and strengthens our path.

Una vez finalizado el trabajo, llevamos a Luis de regreso a la ciudad. Ya era tarde y estábamos bastante agotados, pero aún así decidimos pasar por Multipiscina con la intención de comprar reactivo para medir el cloro. Lamentablemente, ya habían cerrado, así que esa tarea quedó pendiente para el día siguiente.
En resumen, fue un día largo, exigente y físicamente demandante, pero con resultados excelentes. Cada jornada como esta nos recuerda la importancia del compromiso, la preparación y el trabajo en equipo. Me siento agradecida por poder compartir estas experiencias con ustedes, porque cada una de ellas deja una enseñanza y fortalece nuestro camino.
