Elementary school Sports Day

Last Saturday, I went to see my daughter's elementary school Sports Day.

The weather was very good. However, the temperature was over 30 degrees and it was hot.

My daughter participated in a foot race, dance, and beanbag toss.

She is not running so fast but running happily. About dancing, she practiced not only at school but at home.

A sports day is usually held in September or October. But, recently it often held in May.

It is one of the most important events in a year in elementary schools in Japan.

Parents or grandparents come and cheer on their children or grandchildren.
