I spent a day at the book fair to gain my knowledge.

The month of February is important for Bengalis. February 21 is known worldwide as Mother Language Day.A book fair is held in Bangladesh titled "Amor Ekushey" throughout the month of February.The book fair started from February 1st, I was there yesterday afternoon till evening.

It was very nice to see the management on entering the fair. A map of the book fair was given at the entrance. Finding the preferred stall without that map is quite difficult.

First, I walked around the fair for a while and saw the stalls.Everyone was buying their favorite books from the fair. I was also looking for books in every store to buy. After wandering around the fair for a while, I was tired and hungry and went to the food shop and had something to eat.

I bought these two books in the above picture from the fair. And after returning home at night, I started reading the books.

Every day during the fair, discussions on various topics, poetry reading sessions are held. Cultural programs are held every evening. In addition, authors interact with readers and viewers about their books.

Earlier every year book fair was held from 1st to 21st of February. Since 1984, this fair has been regularly held in every city of the country throughout the month of February on the request of buyers, visitors and sellers.

A special task force is kept along with the security forces at the fair. Along with the overall security of the fair, they detect whether the books have violated copyright or intellectual property laws and take appropriate action.

Books are the best resources of people. With which no other wealth can be compared. One day all other wealth may perish, but the knowledge gained from a good book will never be exhausted, because knowledge keeps the lamp of knowledge burning in the heart forever.

So if we want to develop ourselves as proper people and become an asset of the country, everyone should develop the habit of reading books.
