EMBRACING LIFE JOURNEY: BEING FIRM AND A STRONG INDIVIDUAL

Hello everyone, I am a new member here in this platform and also this is my first time knowing this one, cause the platform that I just know is that facebook, insta and even Twitter. My mom's cousin told me about this because she's already a member here. By the way my name is Doris Ellen Collamat, I am 24 years old and I live somewhere in Mindanao. I am the second children among the 5 siblings, my hobbies are singing, reading stories, and watching kdrama.

I finished my senior high last 2018 and aiming to be a degree holder, but when I decided to take another step to study in college unexpected situation came. I need to stop attending school in order for me to help my family and also our eldest brother who needs daily medication and monthly therapy. My parents were just a mat waver that time, they worked day and night just to make ends meet, I saw all of their sacrifices for us they can't even have a proper sleep, all the sweats and tiredness they'd feel just to sustain and give us a better life, so that's when I decided to find a job near in our city and thankfully I got hired thanks to the help of our neighbor who worked there as a supervisor.

I worked as a saleslady for 1 year and two months it was my first job ever . In those days I really don't have any regrets working instead of studying because I found a new friend, working in a non toxic environment and also I loved the feeling of helping and supporting my family to the point that studying is not included in my plan anymore, but when everythings back to normal my mother talked to me and said that I need to stop now and proceed to college that's why I resigned and get ready for another journey in my life. Fast forward I passed the entrance exam, and took the course of BSBA major in Financial Management, I took the evening class so that I can find a partime job during morning. Everything went smooth not until pandemic hits. Regular class turns into an online class, its very hard for me to catch up the classes that time because I don't have any money to provide my daily Data because I cant even find a part time job that time because all establishments are closed. So I stopped and decided to help my mother managing her new found business which is "kakanin "

1 year had past and I meet this man and became my live in partner for over 3 years already. He became my supporting system through out the years, he help me financially just like my family, he really want's the best for me and even wants me to have a brighter future. I told him that I don't want to finished my course instead I want to attend schooling for abroad. Yes, indeed I studied for almost 6 months in a Japanese school.

Months had past I found out that I got pregnant, I was so happy that time including my family because God's answered one of my most desired which is to be a mother. My mama always wanted me to get pregnant and give them a grandchild. We double the sacrifice we made thinking the better future of our baby even if it is so very early. My partner and I would sell kakanin in the morning while in the evening I will go to Japanese school to study. 2 months had past and this was the most tragic pain I had ever feel, I lost my baby due stress.

I never thought that this was really happening to me, but despite of all the pain I felt, still I am thankful to God for letting me experience being pregnant even if its just two months.

For now I am happy and still continue to survived and also I thank the Lord for giving me this wonderful niece, so far she filled all the emptiness and also for letting me to be her second mommy. I hope y'all will like my introduction about myself
