[Straw Plays] Judgment - Part Two (Detective Work & Arcade Games)

Today we continue with another one of these games that I started in the past but ended up not playing due to my breaks. I actually wasn't sure I would enjoy this game but it turned out to be pretty darn great.
Judgment is another game from the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio that created all of the Yakuza games. I never played any of them. I always kind of wanted to but I usually don't go for games that have a lot of story/dialogue like that. I am glad I changed my mind though as this is building up to be a pretty great story and game.

After getting through the intro last time and learning about the protagonist Takayuki Yagami, we find out that he is a lawyer who had a pretty huge case involving a serial murderer. He believed the suspected killer to be innocent based on evidence but after he was acquitted, he quickly murdered his girlfriend. Which sent our protagonist to a pretty dark place.

Now he is working as a detective instead and that is where we come in. In this game, we get to investigate a crime involving the Yakuza and it gets interesting since Yagami himself has some very strong ties to one of the Yakuza families. The first case we get to lay our hands on involves the captain of that family and it's a pretty gruesome case as you will see. I am having a lot of fun with this game and will probably be playing it for the foreseeable future. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I have so far and see you in the next one!
Here are the previous parts of this series in case you missed it:
I hope you like the video and let me know in the comments what you think!
