Next week is

in London where @alessandrawhite and @mcsamm will be speaking. You can still get a free ticket if you want to see what is happening in the digital world. Cryptocurrency and blockchain were the trendy topics for a while, but AI is getting the attention now. I expect there will be plenty of that at the show, but it does not replace what Hive can do as a platform to build social apps on.

@acgalarza did a cool interview with @crimsonclad. She is a great ambassador for Hive.

@snapie now allows for audio snaps using 3speak technology. This is only implemented in the

for now as that allows for quick deployment, but it should be in the mobile app soon. They are open to suggestions for improvements.

The @threespeak team think we need to consider how we can manage $HIVE inflation. That may mean generating less $HBD to spend on supporting projects, so the projects may need to find alternative ways to fund themselves.

In general news @louis88 alerted us about a serious vulnerability in Chrome-based browsers. Check for updates and be careful what links you click on.

@harbiter is trying reinvigorate a guitar community. That is something I would like to see more active. People may post in the more general Music community, but that can get lost amongst the many posts. I think that more focused communities are more useful, but you can cross-post to more than one if you want.
I have made lots of use of the @strava2hive app to post my activities. There have been some issues with the Strava API recently, but it mostly works. These are not easy to maintain when the services you rely on keep changing.
@ravenmus1c is giving away prizes in the run-up to Christmas. You do need to hold her token to qualify. There are some on the market.
I have given many mentions to @sidekickmatt, but then I really enjoy his comics. He has three different ones that get posted on Hive so you can enjoy them in your feed. He has been playing with AI to animate them with mixed results. I think he deserves to have more views and votes.

I have nothing specific for the Dog House this week, but there is always something dodgy going on. If the price keeps going on then more people will try to exploit it. You do not have to downvote posts, but you can consider if what you support is genuine. People are abusing AI tools to create posts that just recycle information from elsewhere. They will also steal content from others. We have to decide what has value and support what we want to see more of.

The year is running out fast and people will be busy with various things, but I hope they can find time for Hive. Get your friends on here and it can be more fun.
