@steevc just finished a 12.31km run, that lasted for 76 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 970.0 calories.

Description from Strava:

Yesterday I was helping at Henlow Bridge Lakes parkrun again. That was my fiftieth time, so I get another badge on my profile. I did the first timer briefing and was timekeeping.

We were busy in the garden yesterday. I built two big raised beds and that tired me out. I think it is all the awkward movements and I just cannot do as much as maybe twenty years ago. I still wanted to run today. The forecast is for it to get wet and windy, so I headed out fairly early. I did a slightly stretched loop around the villages.

There was a baby boot and a sock on a fence waiting to be recovered. It was a little windy, but not too bad and a lot of the run is fairly sheltered. I took a long way around Stotfold to extend the distance and saw a few runners who I did not recognise.

Coming back into Arlesey I opted for a fairly direct route as I had had enough by then. This is still my longest run in a while and I will aim to keep going a little further in weeks to come. It was not fast, but that does not really matter on a long run. I will work on speed during shorter runs in the week.

I managed a few chores today, but want to do some music recording too. It has been a while since I did much of that.

Run free!
