This video features our big band’s second performance of “Give IT All You Got” and agin, the date of this recording is Oct 31 2025.

“Give IT All You Got”, like the previous post, but this is 10 days later, a different performance venue, and a weird costume. Not a repost! It’s October 31st 2025 in the vid and this is Part 2. Take a look at the previous day’s post to see the previous performance.

This song is my nemesis and this is might be my best and last performance of it. Fun song, great original bass line, and harmonically interesting main melody and more. I was playing the main bass line differently than the recording. After I simply played the same rhythm as the recording, my feel started improving.

The song is usually last in the concert or performance that we're doing with this band. So my other challenge is holding on to my strength maintain dexterity so that I can play complicated parts easily at the end of a concert. Sounds great to play hard, but one must pace it out or else be a slave to fatigue later in the performance decision making.

“Give It All You Got” was used in the 84 olympics.
