Splinterlands - The Tournament analysis
11 comments
Hello all Splinterlands folks,
In my season report, I mentioned joining the Tournament again after applying the entry fee. I would like to share my analysis after 7 Tournaments in this post.

Choosing the Tournament
With my current staked SPS and card power, I'm qualified to join the Gold League tournament.
However, I set some criteria for myself to secure the best win rate
- I will not join the Gold League format because I don't have enough strong cards to win the battle.
- I will not join the Rebellion format because I don't have so many cards of this set.
- I only join Anytime type
At the end, I joined 7 below Tournaments
Result
Here are the results of 7 Tournaments, from top to bottom following the same sequence as the above list. I completely lost 2 Tournaments without any rewards, one of them was because I missed playing it. If I didn't miss it, the reward could be better.
I noticed there were many battles with the high mana cap (above 50) and I couldn't win these battles because I don't have high mana Legendary cards.
Analysis
Here is my analysis
- Total entry fees = 650 DEC
- Total rewards = 137.883 SPS ~ 1407 DEC as of today's exchange rate.
- My earning = 1407 - 650 = 757 DEC
Conclusion and next steps
- I still get positive earnings from the Tournament. So I continue joining the Tournaments
- I will use the earnings from Tournaments to purchase some Legendary cards. The price is quite reasonable at the moment. It will helps me to have better win rate :)

That's all for now.
I hope you enjoy this report.
