Creating some little dioramas (oil on paper)
Hello hivers, an happy Wednesday to you all! Here it's raining hard since tonight and my old bones feel the need to a more dry weather, but you know we can't do anything about the daily weather and so it's better to think about what I can do instead to think about what I can't do. 😁
This morning, as the same way I use to do every day, I woke up soon to work on my artworks during the first hours of the day, while the city seems so silent and quiet.
I gave food to my furry friends and after I drank my cup of coffee watching the raindrops fallen down from the sky. I thought about how comfortable is to watch the raindrops from my cosy warm home and I decided to create some new dioramas using simple materials like scraps of paper, cardboard, glue and, sure, my colors.
I just finished a couple of them so I can show you the final result:
From time to time I love to create this kind of small scenes inside little box. Sometimes I make wooden boxes by my hands, sometimes (and this is simple and fast) I create the boxes using scraps of cardboard and paper.
Like I use to do, I also took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
