“ From the frying pan into the fire! “ 😮
“ Liz, I wonder if “Asplundh” would let me take some of those logs they left by the road? “
If you aren’t familiar with Asplundh, this is a tree cutting contractor that removes dead or dangerous trees along the roads in our town.
With the weather abruptly turning cold, Silvertop’s hope of switching to short pants has been suddenly dashed Lol!🙄
I lit the fire in the wood stove, and Cot immediately assumed the position Lol!😻
“ Hmmm……. I guess winter doesn’t want to let go of us Cot! “ 😇
Cyle our older “baby of a cat”, is really the Alfa Cat.
As soon as Dad built a fire, he ran Cot away from the wood stove, and claimed the warm toasty spot along the side of the stove as HIS Lol!😻
You can see from the photos, that tree trimming in the Pacific Northwest is a continuous ongoing effort!🙄
This is one of the reasons we lose electrical power from powerful winter wind storms so often!
My “boys” are enjoying the warmth of the inside fire…………..😺
Where as Bill, one of Silvertop’s “Other” son’s is enjoying a fire OUTSIDE………..

Bill has a fire burning on a frozen lake over in Eastern Washington!
What is my son thinking Lol!😳
It looks like he has turned into a Mountain Man Lol!🥰
He is ice fishing, he better hurry the season is ending quickly Lol!😇
Back over on the Western side of the mountains, Silvertop can handle a bit of late season cooler weather!☺️
