Greetings, friends! I hope you are all doing well! How was your Christmas vacation? I think mine ended up lasting a little longer than I had planned.
Today, I want to share with you a drawing of my favorite Holozing healer, with a somewhat rural background.
As this is my first illustration of the year, I have several ideas that I will be developing very soon, friends.

Saludos amigos espero esten muy bien! que tal pasaron las vacaciones de navidad? creo que mis vacaciones se extendieron un poco mas de lo pensado.
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un dibujo de mi sanador favorito de Holozing. con un fondo algo rural.
Siendo este mi primera ilustracion del año, tengo varias ideas que estare desarrollando muy pronto amigos.

Process/Proceso

First step: the basic shape of the character with the flag. During the sketching stage, I had to adjust many things in the pose, especially the size of the flag and the arms.
To finish, we do the line art in black.

Primer paso la forma basica del personaje con la bandera, en la etapa de boceto tuve que ajustar muchas cosas en la pose mas que nada el tamaño de la bandera y los brazos.
Para finalizar hacemos el lineart en color negro.

We apply the base color. At this point, it's easy because I already have several illustrations of this character, so I just had to copy most of the colors.
For the flag, I plan to use a technique that I rarely use, so to start with, we'll make it a single color.
The background will mainly be the sky. Interestingly, this background is inspired by the view of the sky from my backyard. So, there's one more detail missing.

Aplicamos el color base, en este punto es facil pues ya tengo varias ilustraciones de este personaje por lo que solo debia copiar la mayoria de los colores.
para la bandera tengo pensado hacer una tecnica que uso muy poco por lo que para empezar la haremos de un color unico.
el fondo dera mayormente el cielo, dato curioso este fondo esta inspirando en la vista del cielo desde el patio de mi casa. por lo que falta un detalle mas.

We blur the background and add more details on a new layer, using the same cloud brush but with green tones to create some vegetation below.
I downloaded an electric pole object from the Clip Studio website and adjusted it to fit my illustration. I feel like it would have been better to draw it normally, but I already had it and wanted to use it.
At this point, we create a relief on the flag, all in blue. Later on, you will see the logic behind this.

Difuminamos el fondo y agregamos mas detalles en una nueva capa, usando el mismo pincel de nubes pero con tonos verdes creamos algo de vegetacion abajo.
Descargue de la pagina de clipstudio un objeto de poste electrico. y lo ajuste para que se viera bien en mi ilustracion, siento que fuera sido mejor dibujarlo normalmente pero ya lo tenia y queria usarlo.
en este momento creamos un relieve en la bandera todo con el color azul mas adelante veran la logica de esto.

On a layer above the flag layer, we applied the color and effect (I forgot which one, I tried several) until we got one that would show the shadows underneath.
In any case, I had to apply a little more color on a new layer to highlight certain areas.
For the body, I used the same technique as always: shadows and highlights on the base color and blending.
I don't know if you can see it, but I added some tears of happiness and a blushing expression; I wanted to convey that feeling.
On the clover on the shirt, I did something similar to what I did on the flag so I could take advantage of the relief from the previous layer.

En una capa sobre la capa de la bandera aplicamos el color y efecto " olvide cual se que intente con varios" hasta conseguir uno que dejara ver las sombras de abajo.
de todas formas tuve que aplicar un poco mas de color en una nueva capa para resaltar ciertas zonas.
Para el cuerpo use la misma tecnica de siempre sombras y luces sobre el color base y difuminar.
no se si se notan pero le agregue algunas lagrimas de felicidad y una expresion sonrojada, queria transmitir ese sentimiento.
en el trebol de la franela hice algo similar a lo de la bandera asi aprovecho el relieve de la capa anterior.

We apply the final details and that's it. This time, there was no need to correct the tones in general because I wanted it to have that soft, slightly desaturated tone.

Aplicamos los detalles finales y listo, en esta oportunidad no hizo falta corregir los tonos en general pues queria que tuviera ese suave tono poco saturado.
