Fragosas Valley Waterfall, Portugal

Last Thursday, after visiting the viewpoint, we drove 20 more minutes to get down the Fragosas Valey. The place is know by a 9km geopath called
where you can find several waterfalls. Again, we left the car on the road, next to a water spring and quickly found the information board announcing the path.

Next to it you could see the wood stairs leading to the waterfall.

As we were approaching the bottom of the clift we could hear the sound of the watter falling.

There were some annimal little sculptures made out of granite stone and iron such us this frog and several snails.

A new board on the bottom of the staircase explained the importance of water on the civilization and how the population built a wall to transport the water to the nearby villages

We finally reached the nice waterfall and I could not do anything but imagine how nice it would be to take a bath down here in the middle of the summer heat.
