Concentration of Decentralization in Web3

Today I read about Etherscan's purchase of Solscan on the news and I remembered how concentrated the web3 industry is considering it was intended to be the decentralized world.
Many web3 users don't know how most of the traffic is quite concentrated through wallet nodes such as mMtamask, or connection services such as Infura. The block explorer world is also very concentrated in EVM chains with Etherscan which is almost a monopoly and now also controls Solana with this purchase.
It is sad to see how little by little there is more and more concentration in the industry and a few services are starting to control most of the power as CEX did initially in the trading space before DEX services appeared. The only way to avoid this "control" is to set up your node at home with services such as DappNode and make sure your transactions are not surveilled by any third-party offering connection.
I am happy to be part of Hive as it still keeps its independence, maybe because it is too much of a niche and big players do not bother at all about this blockchain. But if we intend to grow which is what most of us want, we should take a look at what is taking place in the most popular chains and be prepared to fight against it.
