A Short Note

I know I can be pretty inattentive sometimes, but even for me this was funny — how did I manage to miss this notification?

Yes, guys, I’ve been here for 7 years already, and now my eighth year on this blockchain has started. It honestly feels a bit unreal. I’m glad I’m still here, and even more glad that over all these years I didn’t panic, didn’t sell everything, and didn’t disappear.
During this time, I’ve met people here whose content I genuinely enjoy. I follow them, read their posts, and I’m happy to support them with my votes. For me, this place was never just about numbers — it became a small digital world with real personalities.
I originally came to Hive thanks to a very well-known guy — Davinci Jeremie, the same person who was telling everyone to buy Bitcoin back in 2013.
Here is one of those classic videos:
One cold January evening, sitting at home, I was watching one of his newer videos. He was talking about several promising coins, and among them he mentioned Hive (yes, I know it had a different name back then — but I’d rather not bring that up now).
After he said that this project had a big future, I didn’t think twice. I opened my browser, went online, and registered almost immediately.
And that’s how I ended up here.
Seven years later, I’m still around.
Still reading.
Still voting.
Still holding.
Not bad for a random decision made on a cold winter night.
I write my texts myself, correct mistakes and translate via ChatGPT (which is not a violation on Hive)!
All photos were taken by me personally - I am a beginner photographer, so I ask professionals not to judge strictly.
Thank you for sharing these moments with me! Until new stories and new holidays! ✌️.
