Hello friends of this community; You have felt that you do not have discipline and perseverance in what you propose, and by not having it you feel that you lose many opportunities in life, at work, in relationships; As one of the greatest men who ever walked in America said, “consistency is the mother of all virtues”, Bolívar knew it and to achieve what you want you have to be constant.



If you decide to live a life in which you can manage boredom more effectively and be consistent in your actions, you will begin to grow in your professional field, you will become more involved in your projects and you will complete tasks like simply finishing a book, finishing a book is a wonderful feeling, don't you believe it!


I want you to draw in your mind what I am going to tell you because this has changed the way it has transformed my life, why do you have to study every day? because by studying practices and improvements every day you develop new skills and learn new things, you become a new person and that new person will be able to advance the rest of the way, you become someone better, someone who knows more, someone who understands better how things work, that's why there is consistency,


By doing activities every day repeatedly you help yourself improve if I take, for example, learning to play the piano, at first you don't know anything, but after practicing for a few weeks you can start playing some notes, with perseverance you gradually improve and it will also help you discover what you are not good at and in which areas to improve, then you discover your weaknesses and by practicing, only by practicing will you be able to improve.



So by improving you become more efficient and more effective in your efforts, however, there is another important aspect in physics that is applied here we learn that energy is not created from nothing and this means that we do not have an infinite amount of energy, at the beginning of the day we have a higher energy level but at the end of the day after having done different activities your energy decreases, therefore, it is essential to manage your energy correctly as well as manage your time and this relates to focus.


Let's say you have 10 energy points, when you wake up, when you are reading or studying you are using those 10 points to concentrate and learn, however, if you suddenly pick up your phone and start using it some of those energy points are diverted towards whatever you are doing with your mobile, then your cognitive capacity is divided between different tasks and unfortunately you do not have an infinite amount of energy points.


When you are distracted by your phone you are using part of that energy from those 10 points instead of focusing on your studies or your reading, even if you return to the study some of your energy from your 10 points has already been exhausted in other distractions, that is, you go from having 10 points to maybe having six and this is one of the reasons why you may feel that you are not making progress or that your concentration is decreasing.



In short, every day that you focus on an activity you are accumulating small improvements that take you towards your goal, so consistency helps you a lot to discover your weaknesses and improve on them and on the other hand, it is important that you manage your energy well and avoid distractions to maintain a much more effective and constant focus on your tasks, giving a similar example, if I have 10 pages to read and I can't make the most of them because I have been distracted by my cell phone or a series or doing something else alone I take advantage of five pages, the other five pages accumulate for the next day and the more things I accumulate, the longer it takes me to reach the result I want.


If I extend this period of time I will have to spend more time studying, more time maintaining Consistency because if I do not give my best in training or with any activity I am doing, I will need more time to evolve. Basically, the more focus you have, the less time it will take you to achieve the result you want, because you will be taking advantage of more. However, if I manage to give my best in each activity, whether it is reading, talking with my family, having leisure time, cooking, doing physical exercise, my evolution will be faster, that is the great secret or great benefit of focus.



It's not magic, the more you focus on doing a task excellently the faster you can achieve your dreams, your achievements and that applies to all areas of life, because our energy and our time are limited resources, so we have to choose what we spend our time and our energy on, if we spend a lot of time on nonsense. the really important things in our routine become less relevant, they are put on the back burner and it will take you longer to achieve your goals, that is why focus is so important because it gives us that speed and I know it can be difficult if you are not used to focusing, but I assure you that the benefits of being someone who can concentrate on an activity for a long period of time are amazing benefits.


So train this, at first it is difficult, yes, but as I mentioned above you will later reap the benefits, this perspective of focus has been essential in this last period of my life and when I am losing focus I always remember this information, this message and I strive to refocus.
