The thief on the cross

The word baptism has been an important word in Christianity and its very essential as far as the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is involved.
To be baptized is a requirement from God to Christians if we anticipate going to heaven.
Some people are sometimes confused if baptism is really necessary.
Well,from the storry of the thief who was on the cross with our Lord Jesus Christ,he was a man who went to heaven without being baptized.
Not just him,but also Abel, Abraham, Prophet Elijah etc .

Matthew 28:19-20
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

The reasons they could make it to heaven without being baptized was that baptism was a commandments during the time of John the Baptist and it continued in the time of our Lord Jesus Christ
That's why it's effective now.for in the olden days before christ was born, baptism was not a commandment.

And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Luke 23 : 43
Therefore it is of a truth that the thief that was nailed on the cross with Jesus will go to heaven.
Because he met the saviour on the cross and the saviour which is our Lord Jesus Christ gave him access to paradise.
No one can question God because he is the implementation of the law.

Baptism is still very important in our lives,because it was our lord Jesus Christ commandments and we as Christians needs to adhere to it.
For the thief on the cross,his case was exceptional because christ was still on earth and was on cross with him.
